Chapter Twenty-One

Cass was in awe, Who takes a chopper to a family dinner? How do you even get to live on a private island? She was once again reminded of their societal difference.

As Cass and Marcus made their way to the helipad, Cass's eyes widened in awe at the sight of the sleek and sophisticated helicopter awaiting them.

It was a far cry from anything she had seen in the movies, it was much more grand and intimidating.

"I hope you don't mind the chopper ride," Marcus said, sensing her apprehension.

Cass nodded, trying to hide her nervousness. "No, of course not. It's just... I've never been in a helicopter before."

Marcus smiled reassuringly, taking her hand in his. "Don't worry, it's perfectly safe. I'll be here with you, and the views are breathtaking."

Caleb looked towards the other guard and raised his brow, Mr. Wells was not known for public shows of affection nevertheless reassuring anyone.

Taking a deep breath, Cass stepped into the helicopter, her heart pounding with both excitement
