Not as cold as she seems

Andre's POV

"What?"

She rolled her eyes. "To show my deepest apologies, I'll be helping you with reviving your ranch. Just tell me what you need help with." Her words came out like it was definite and I had no choice.

I stared at the lady in front of me. She was different from the woman I met back then. Still cold but crazy has been added to the list. There's no way she expected me to take her up on her offer. "What are you apologizing for? You didn't do anything."

An eye roll was what I got in response. "I didn't but I have come to realize I've not been civil and I'll like to make up for it." My gaze intensified on her features but her confidence didn't waver.

"It's good that you want to make amends but I think fixing the fence will be enough."

She wasn't having it, she let out a heavy breath in frustration. "I don't think you understand. I want to help you. I don't know why you'd be bothered about that ranch but it must mean something to you if you aren't going to sell and I'll like
