Andre's POV

"From your tone and expression, I guess that's a bad thing?" It was meant to be a statement but it came out as a question.

"My mom is going to kill me! I can't be pregnant. I don't have a husband or a job, I could never raise a child on my own." She dropped to the foot of my bed, the test results tightly squeezed in her hand. I didn't know what to say so I just let her rant on. "My dad walked out on us when he found out my mom was pregnant with me and I vowed never to let that happen to me and now look! I'm screwed." She said as she held her head tightly, her finger digging deep into her scalp.

She had gone quiet suddenly in the poorly lit room. A poorly lit lamp was at the far end of the room so I couldn't see her face but loud sobs soon filled the room and her body shook with each one.
