CHAAPTER NINE

Hannah immediately stood up and tried her luck to retrace her steps. Nervousness started to creep into her being when she couldn’t still find Catalina, not even a silhouette. She was far from the river now, trailing back her steps. She feels exasperated as time goes by, especially when she realizes that the map was on Catalina’s. If she wandered without it, then she was sure as hell that there would be two princesses lost in just an hour.

Calling Catalina’s name, hoping the mentioned name will hear it, but no one’s answering her aside from the birds and the breeze of the wind. She was already sweating from the panic she felt. Her heart beats like crazy, and a series of thoughts keep going through her head.

Reaching for her phone, she wanted to call Catalina, but realizing she didn’t have the princess’ number, she sighed once again and put it back down.

She knew if she tried to call Minister Kal, then he would help her find Catalina, but then she knew he would tell her parents. And
