Hate The Alpha Heir

ODEYA.

“Do you want me to kiss you?” He asked.

“Kiss me,” I responded expecting his lips on mine. Only, they never came. I felt them connect to my ears instead, his breath landed on my earlobe and this made my breath unstable again. Soft moans fell off my mouth without control and I bit my lower lips with flustered cheeks, embarrassed.

“If I kiss you right now, you will go home and think I took advantage of you. Go home, think about it, and come back tomorrow,” he whispered.

I opened my eyes immediately and saw him staring back at me with his elegant eyes. As I reminisced on what he had said, I couldn't help but laugh. I turned around from Herald and laughed until my stomach hurt.

“Why are you laughing?” Herald's voice sounded behind me and then I turned to see him looking at me as though I had grown two heads.

“A..Are you sure you're the bad boy the rumor says you are? A bad boy would never care if I think he's taking advantage of me,” I uttered, trying stable myself.

I heard Herald huff and then he turned back to the tree he sat at earlier.

“Those are just rumors, I'm nothing like my father. I have never even had my first kiss but everyone just assumes I am exactly like my dad.” He groaned.

I was stunned by what he had said but said nothing. This was because I didn't believe him one bit.

“I am going to leave now...” I told him, back walking away.

He raised his head to me and wanted to say something but I didn't give him the chance. I ran as fast as my legs could carry me back home.

At home, Mom had prepared dinner.

“Did you get a good painting of the forest?” Mom asked as she served the food.

“Uhm yeah,” I answered, eating my food and thinking of Herald. I haven't been able to take the image of him off my head and what he said. He hasn't had his first kiss yet? That's a fucking lie, from the pit of hell. However, why would he even lie to me?

“Odeya, are you even listening?” My dad's voice sounded and I turned to him.

“Huh?” I asked.

“When are we going to see your paintings?” He asked, using one hand to caress my mom’s waist. They are the best lovers, and they never stop touching each other even when I am there. I'm not complaining, I actually love their love; it's cute.

“My paintings are not for anyone’s eyes except mine,” I replied without looking at them.

“I told you she was going to give the same response, just leave her, she’ll show us when she is ready,” Mom told Dad and I am so grateful for her.

I looked up and saw Dad dipping his hand into her panties, gosh, I looked away very quickly almost grossed out.

“Should I finish my dinner in my...”

“Yes, please, go away!” Mom uttered, moving closer to Dad and I closed my eyes before picking my food. With this, I ran to my room, I don't want to experience them making out again.

The Next Day;

I went back to train, of course, however, my mind constantly thought of Herald. His company and his helping me train, I couldn't stop thinking about them. Perhaps I just miss my best friend, she traveled for some reason she never told me. That daughter of a bitch! I cursed out loud, slamming my sword into the tree.

Bristles of the tree fell to the floor and I sighed before going to get my sword. I didn't know why I was thinking of Herald, but I shrugged and got the thought of him from my head. Then I started my training all over.

By the time I was done, the sun was about to go back to its home. Herald didn't come, I didn't think much of him but I anticipated it in the back of my mind. Well, I guess I thought too much of the prince who was just like his father.

I packed up my stuff and planned to go home. However, as I stood to walk away, I heard footsteps approaching me.

My eyes glint and expectation filled my entire body.

A smile that I didn't realize popped on my face as I saw him draped in dark jeans and a black shirt coming over. However, what I didn't expect was his puffed face and the way he breathe roughly. He looked angry.

“Herald, are you okay?” I asked moving closer. Herald turned to me, his anger visible on his face.

“Go away!” He lashed at me angrily and this made me stop on my track.

I watched him go further as if avoiding me. Tears burnt my eyes because I had waited for him all day even though I didn't admit it to myself. Only for him to come here and yell at me.

Without saying anything, I ran back home. I wanted to avoid dinner but I couldn't because Mom and Dad would disturb me until I tell them what was wrong with me.

I miss Katya so much, I wish she could come back soon so I can share these newfound feelings with her.

Two days passed, and I didn't go back to the forest. Even mom wondered the reason and asked me while kissing my dad in the kitchen; I hate them.

However, I couldn't tell them the real reason because how am I supposed to explain my feelings? Sighs.

Nevertheless, I still wondered what happened to Herald. Why did he change toward me like that? Ain't it the same guy that told me he didn't kiss me because he didn't want me to think he took advantage of me?

Again, I was in a situation where I needed someone to talk to, someone to listen. That was the job of my best friend yet she left without any explanation.
