"You don't sound happy about that." I remarked, trying not to sound like I wanted to hear the reason why he doesn't want them home.
"That's cause I'm not." He replied drily.
"Duh, I figured." I stated with an eye roll.
"Good for you." He replied sarcastically.
"Anyways, I just wish we could switch places, my parents can be too much sometimes." He explained.
"I wanna switch places too, I miss my parents, it feels so empty here without them here."
It wouldn't have been so empty if you didn't kill your baby brother.
And, like that, I could feel myself already spiralling into another depressing state.
"Stop over thinking things, this woman." He chastised mildly.
A sigh escaped my lips.

The sound of the running engine finally going quiet made me let out a relieved sigh as I held unto Silas arm before carefully hopping off the back seat and releasing my tight hold on his biceps.He pulled the head helmet off his head and threw it in the air twice while making them twirl in the air before coming down into his outstretched palms before turning sideways to give me a cocky look."So, how was the ride?""Horrible.
