Nandru was deep in thought as he made his way down the hotel corridor. It was clear to him that the old African high priestess had the ability to read his mind. That was something he wasn’t accustomed to. He needed to focus his thoughts so that she wouldn’t pick up on the fact that he’d lost Tatyana; or at the very least, misplaced her. If the old woman discovered this, he was certain she wouldn’t help turn Bruce back into a human.
