Chapter 20

Tatyana needed water.  It was several hours since she’d discovered Nandru’s private exit and wandered northeast over the rocky terrain with the brutal rays of the sun beating on her. She had no clue where she was or if she was near a town at all, but even if she was, she didn’t know who could be trusted to help her.  Staying in the mountains until she was certain she was safe was the best thing. In the meantime, she needed water; and eventually food.
