Chapter 5

**Beatrice POV**

I didn’t believe it. Does Alpha Duncan only recognize me as a tool to give birth to a son?

What did I expect? He bought me from a brothel, I was a whore

Even though I really loved him. What? I had always been in love with my mate before I met him, and the idea of having one had always fascinated me. I I did many things to please him. I even periodically turned into an aggressive girl just for him.

I remembered dancing in sensual and transparent clothes in front of him. I did it so that our relationship would get closer and we were feeling love grow between us. After all, he was my mate! But after hearing what he thought of me, I couldn't stay in the palace.

An Omega suddenly stood right in front of me. She didn't catch me when I almost ran away. She said instead, “Go! I'll pretend I never saw you here. But never come back again! Because if you do you will surely die! Alpha has found a girl on his journey. He will immediately kill you even if you are pregnant with his son. Because I understand what it feels like to be bullied and betrayed, that's why I'm giving you a chance to leave.”

I widened my eyes when I saw her draw a dagger and point it at me.

“Go before I change my mind!”

My feet tripped. I tried to get up and run as fast as I could. My head was spinning and I was nauseous the entire time I ran. Because I did not have the strength I finally collapsed and fainted from exhaustion.

I wondered if Alpha Duncan would come looking for me out of regret. Or would he be busy with the girl he just met? My baby, you will probably miss your father forever.

My eyes were blurry when I woke up. Several shadows filled my vision, like some random dots.

"Are you awake?" The voice of someone I didn't recognize slipped into my ear.

"Maybe she needs a drink," said another.

"Oh, you're right." Then the sound of very fast footsteps. "Drink it!"

My lips tasted the fresh water.

I drank it and rubbed my eyes. Now I could see clearly: two stupid-looking men were sitting in front of me.

"I guess we can call Falon now."

"Yeah, call him! I will look after her!”

I saw one of them running out of the room where I was lying. Then I observed the man who was now sitting smiling in front of me.

He was a man of thin build, with protruding black eyes and very bushy eyebrows. "My name is Zayn. What's your name?"

I had not had time to answer when suddenly a well-built man entered. His face was covered with scars and stitches. One of his eyebrows had just been sewn up. It could be seen from the threads that had not been cut and the dried blood that sticks.

"You may go," said the wounded man.

The two men who had been accompanying me nodded and grimaced. They waved at me and I was confused about how to respond.

The wounded man, whose name I believed was Falon, was now sitting on the edge of the bed where I was. "Are you okay? We found you on the edge of our territory. It looks like someone is trying to kill you.”

"Where am I?"

"You are in the depths of the forbidden forest, where we live."

"Forbidden forest?" My head was suddenly dizzy and suddenly I felt nauseous. I couldn't hold it in so I threw up on the spot.

Win stepped back and then called someone.

A woman came who supported me slowly and then took me somewhere. I was escorted to the house of a healer there.

My pulse was checked by a very old healer. She nodded repeatedly then asked me “Did you already know that you were pregnant?”

I swallowed my spit and answered nothing.

I didn't know who they were and whether they were good people. They said I was stranded on the edge of their territory in the forbidden forest, but I passed out around Alpha Griffin's palace grounds. They must be making up something. Maybe they wanted to kidnap me to intimidate Alpha Griffin.

The healer nodded without waiting for an answer from me. “Jojo, call Falon!”

The woman who had escorted me nodded. She came out of the healer's house and entered again with Win.

The healer looked at him seriously. “She is pregnant. And that doesn't seem like the baby she wanted."

I hugged my stomach very tightly. My eyes darted around to find a weapon. But damn I found nothing.

Win approached me and I inched backward, afraid that he would hurt me. But he made me wide-eyed for holding out his hand to me. “Welcome to your new home, Red. That's your name now. If you want to live here then you have to forget all your past including your birth name. Are you willing to be a part of us?”

I didn't know who they were and whether they were good enough for me to trust. But right now, I had no choice but to welcome Win's helping hand. “Yes,” I whispered shakily.

They were rogues led by Win. Even though they refused to acknowledge Win as a leader, I believed so.

I lived very well there. All the nutrients and my needs were fulfilled. My pregnancy was fine and I could practice fighting while pregnant.

It was very strange indeed and it even made all the members here wonder. But they believed that I might be too good to be able to train and master fighting techniques in a short time while pregnant.

I used to train just to protect myself. But after the other rogues attacked us, I used that ability to form a new pack. Even though my realm wasn't as large as Alpha Griffin, I did have a name that was highly respected in many places.

"That's Red, a Luna who can conquer many areas in a short time." That was how I was always talked about and glorified.

I who was once a loser who was seen as trash was now being fought over by many Alphas. They were vying for my heart so they could get the territory that I had conquered.

One day I received an invitation from another pack that wanted to ally with me. I'd ordered a Beta to check the condition of the pack. And because everything was safe, I headed there.

At that time, I was still pregnant. My pregnancy was entering the second trimester. Some werewolves give birth at short gestation, but I was different. My pregnancy was almost the same as a human.

I arrived in the pack and was very well received. I was escorted to their pack house and provided some refreshments.

At first, I was walking casually because I thought this was just a light discussion, until then the Alpha in the pack said something, “Let me introduce Alpha King, Luna. He is Alpha Duncan. Oh, he's sitting there waiting for you."

My eyes widened and my body froze. I saw Alpha Duncan sitting domineeringly in a chair. He turned and stared at me for a very long time. His cold eyes traveled up and down my stomach.

I swallowed hard. He didn't know I was pregnant, did he?
