Xavier's P.O.V

I paused on my track, turning to look at Kourtney as I removed her hands from mine. "What did you just say?"

She shrugged, walking giddily to the dining. "I mean, you said her mother died alongside the fetus in her stomach and that's why you are pitying her pathetic self. You also want to make her have a sense of belonging and that's why you introduced her as your wife when you just hired her as a maid"
