The guard who came to get me didn’t even look at me the way they used to. No sneers. No rolled eyes. No whispers behind my back. His voice was softer—polite, even—as he said, “Alpha Kaidon would like to see you in his study.”

That alone was enough to make my stomach turn. Not because I was afraid of Kaidon anymore… no. It was because I wasn’t sure what I felt, especially after what happened in the woods; after what I confessed in the hospital.

I followed behind the guard, my fingers nervously twisting the hem of my dress. As we walked through the halls, I couldn’t help but notice the change. The way the other men looked at me.

They nodded.

One even stepped aside for me to pass.

Another opened a door and held it there, eyes not full of scorn, but… something else… something close to respect…

Until one broke the pattern.

He was tall… built like he’d been carved from stone and used his muscles as a weapon. His eyes were cold as he leaned against the corridor wall and muttered under his br

  • The Cursed Alpha and His Wolfless Mate   Broken!

I searched everywhere. Every town, every market, every rogue-infested border. Nothing. She was gone. And every damn night, I would find myself out there—barefoot, shirtless, drunk on regret—staring at the moon, whispering like a lunatic.“Please,” I’d beg, my knees in the dirt, my hands raised like a madman. “Moon goddess, I know I don’t deserve her. I know I’ve failed her. But please, just let me find her again. Let me tell her I love her. Let me… let me make things right.”Sometimes I’d talk to the spirit of Ravenna, the very witch I killed.“I was young… I didn’t know,” I’d mutter under my breath like a man possessed. “You were never the threat. It was the sickness, the fear. I thought I was protecting my people… I didn't mean to hurt you. Please, if your soul is out there, let her come back to me. Or at least let me find her.”No answer. Not even the wind bothered to whisper back. For a year, I didn’t sleep right. I barely ate. The pack thought I was losing my mind. Maybe I was.L

I didn’t stop running that night, not when the moon turned red. Not when my lungs started to burn. Not even when I felt like my heart was about to shatter into tiny, useless pieces.Kaidon had helped me escape. He told me not to come back.He said he’d find me.But he didn’t.Not for three whole days.By the time I collapsed in the mountains, I was already half dead. I don’t even remember falling. All I remember was the biting wind and the sound of my own sobbing echoing through the trees. Then nothing. When I opened my eyes again, it wasn’t the cold I felt anymore; it was warmth. Warm sheets. A fire crackling nearby. A cup of something that smelled like ginger by the bedside. I blinked a few times before my vision cleared.“Ah, finally awake,” a soft voice said.It was a woman. Mid-forties, maybe. Her grey-streaked hair was braided down her back. She had these kind eyes that reminded me of... well, of how I wished a mother would look.“You were out cold when my husband found you,” sh

  • The Cursed Alpha and His Wolfless Mate   The Escape

It was past midnight when Elder Loin came knocking at my door. I knew it had to be something serious. The old man never left his quarters at that hour unless the walls were falling.I sat up from my desk and stared at him. “You couldn’t sleep either?” I asked with a tired chuckle. He didn’t return the smile.Instead, he stepped in and closed the door behind him. “We need to talk, Alpha. Privately.”That made my heart sink.“Sit,” I said, pointing at the seat across from me.But he remained standing. “Drake. He’s pushing for Lila’s execution.”My chest tightened.“What?” I whispered, blinking as if I’d misheard.“Drake went to the other elders,” he continued. “Told them she’s a threat. He reminded them that she’s the girl from the prophecy; that the curse is already playing out and you’re blinded by your feelings. He convinced them. They voted for her execution.”I stood from my seat immediately, fists clenched at my sides.“When?” I asked.“Three nights from now. They want to do it du

  • The Cursed Alpha and His Wolfless Mate   The Urge

At first, I thought I was imagining it. The way my limbs would suddenly feel… weightless, like I could carry a boulder or sprint faster than the wind. It started the day Kaidon kissed me, and since then, every time he touched me, even if it was just his hand brushing against mine, I felt something inside me shift, like a flame catching fire in a dark room… like strength I never had before.“Kaidon,” I had asked him one evening as we sat under the moonlit sky, his arms wrapped around me from behind, “why do I feel... stronger whenever I’m around you?”He chuckled and kissed the top of my head. “Love,” he said. “Love makes people brave. Love makes people stronger.”I remember wanting to believe him. I did. But it wasn’t just strength. It was something else… something darker. It started as a whisper in my head…Hurt him.I’d flinch every time it came, like someone had poured ice water down my spine. The first time it happened, I was in the kitchen, preparing his favorite tea. I was hummi

  • The Cursed Alpha and His Wolfless Mate   I told and dared them…

The council hall was thick with the scent of incense and authority. Every elder, every warrior leader, every man who swore loyalty to the Moonstone Pack, sat in the curved circle of chairs. I stood at the center of it all. This was going to be a meeting like no other!I was going to tell them!“Gentlemen,” I began, letting my voice echo across the room like the wind before a storm. “Thank you for coming.”“Alpha,” Elder Marcus said, giving a short nod. “Is it something urgent?”I folded my arms. “A few things, actually. We need to talk about security. Patrol shifts, border strength… and something else.”“Border strength?” Elder Joseph leaned forward. “We haven’t had a rogue breach in a long time. Our borders are secure.”“I know,” I replied. “But there’s been too much internal drama lately. People turning against one another. Lies, sabotage, even attempted murder. It weakens us. Once our enemies find out that we're not united, they will strike. We can't wait for them to do that before

  • The Cursed Alpha and His Wolfless Mate   Tides of the Full Moon

Something had come up earlier that day.Something I wasn’t proud of.Another nightmare… the same one that haunted my sleep for months now. The same faceless wolf chasing me across a field of fire and ash, until I fell… and she stared down at me with those hollow, haunting eyes, then turned and vanished into the mist. Every time I woke up, gasping for breath, soaked in sweat, like death had brushed past me. But this time... it felt stronger. Realer. Like the wolf was trying to show me something. Warn me.So I canceled dinner with Lila.I told her it was a meeting with the council. She didn’t question it, even though I saw the flash of disappointment in her eyes before she masked it with a soft smile and nodded.“Okay, Alpha,” she had said quietly. “Maybe another time.”I wanted to reach out, to tell her the truth. But how could I? How do you tell the woman who smiles when you walk into a room, who holds your hand like it's worth something… that you’re cursed to die at her hands? No. Th
