Chapter 9

Third Person’s POV

On their way home the car was surrounded by silence. Henrick played his mp3 with earphones plugged on his ears while Irvin stared at the car window, watching the road that they usually take from school to Henrick’s mansion. He no longer expects that Henrick will show his surprise to him anymore. Somehow he felt uncomfortable at Henrick’s action.

“Uhm. Henrick,” He called out as they both reached their rooms. Henrick stopped but didn’t face him.

“Can you help me with my assignment?” He lied. Irvin can’t take this side of Henrick. It bugs him so much that his silence is killing him.

“I do have a lot of work. Sorry.” He was about to open the door when Irvin stopped him again.

“How about dinner. You want me to cook? You might like...”

“No.” He cut him off. Irvin was left off guard. And he can’t hold his anger anymore.

“What’s wrong with you?! Are you mad at me? If you are, THEN SAY IT! Stop sulking there like a kid!” Before Henrick could reply Irvin entered his room and
