Chapter 7: Point of Direction

My wolf felt at ease after confirming no one was wandering within the range of my senses around half a kilometer in all directions. I sensed a few human and animal bodies but, I believed, they were all dead.

For me and considering Christian's sensitive condition, that case would be a good thing. Those bodies' rotten smell helped and prohibited those werewolves from attacking us or from getting closer to the abandoned house.

As long as I remained human, I believed, our chances of survival could be possible compared to my werewolf form. Nothing can disrupt Christian's transformation if given the chance the alpha wolf was right about the rumor.

My conscience hoped it would work because I could not live without a Christian in my life. He dies, and I die too. And it will be my fucking fault if things go amiss.
