Chapter 6: To Live or to Die

The alpha wolf and his pack members exchanged profound glances. And I somehow find it hard to read what was running through their minds when most of my werewolf abilities had gone dormant.

My anger and resentment began to burst out when the wolf who dared lay his claws at Christian finally showed up. I smelled Chistian's blood in his claws.

A part of me wanted to charge at the wolf when Christian did nothing to them, yet he still attacked him without any signs of hesitation. However, my only option in my case was to wait for them to evacuate the mall.

Lashing out my anger and resentment toward him would only put me in a tough spot. My wolf was apparently outnumbered, let alone, they had an alpha with them. I don't stand a chance against him.

I believed even miracles would not take my side once I insisted on battling with them. At that time, Christian's survival was my top priority.

He needed to survive by all means. I needed him.
