Chapter 27

LAVINIA'S POV

I had nightmares all through.

For the past few months, ever since I was captured, I've only been having nightmares.

I finally got a good sleep a few hours before dinner last night but I should have known it wouldn't last.

My nightmares were usually a recap of all the terrible things that had happened in my life so far, but only worse because in my dreams, there was so much sorrow, blood, death and gore that it left me shaking a good hour after waking up.

This nightmare had particularly been about Primrose, I couldn't really see what happened to her because it was all a blur but I was well aware of her condition.

She was weak and pale, tears stained her eyes and she was bloodied. She accused me of betraying her before passing out.

In the dream, I tried to wake her up, begged her not to leave me just like the others but she refused to respond.

Just then, I heard a strange voice, it was masculine but shrouded in mystery, each word filling me with dread.
