22. Unpredictable.

~Bleep~ ~Bleep~ ~Bleep~

The alarm clock rang nonstop in the slightly dark room. Carolyn struggled to move her arm from the bed to the side where the annoying sound came from with her eyes still closed and a frown.

"Mgrrm". She groaned as she dragged her eyes open with all the energy she had left. Her leg had never been an issue before because she could always move them whenever she was lazy but this time, they felt like blocks of concrete. She could barely open her eyes so how the hell would her legs be any different?

Anger and frustrations engulfed her and all she could do was curse. God, she hated Mondays and every workday. She finally managed to open her saggy eyes that had hell boldly written in them. She traced them to the woman snoring beside her and grunted even more.

"Get your ass up, Bells, it's morning".

The sun wasn't out yet but it was already bright enough outside. She dragged herself from the bed and sat up, bringing her legs down and putting her feet in her soft slipper
