Chapter fifteen

Before her body touched the floor, Alex was able to transform into his wolf form and went down with her.

She landed on his back instead but not escaping a scratch.

"Ouch!" she cried.

Due to the impact of the both of them falling into the out, the walls of the pit suddenly collapsed. Seeing the debris falling, Rielle placed her face on the floor with her eyes closed, and used her hand to cover her head, but that wasn't enough to give her body the protection against the falling bricks.

Instead of falling on her, Rielle felt nothing on her. She wondered if it stopped and so dropped her hand and looked up.

It was dark, but she could see his pair of red eyes. His Alpha's wolf eyes. He was still in his wolf form and standing over her to prevent the bricks from falling on her.

Her heart was still throbbing fast from the fall and the thought of death, but staring at Alex, she just couldn't look away.

"You.....are you?" she kept shut, not able to form any words.
