Rielle and Hermes were taken aback by his sudden request. Elijah haven't really had any conversation with any of them since he came, and to Hermes, it was normal.

Elijah was the type to be serious with there kingdom welfare and not his. He was the best leader anyone would ask for and because of his aim to achieve a better kingdom and world for the werewolves, he never really had time for his family, well, until Keisha came into his life.

She became his top priority and because of her, he was able to catch up with his family a little until her death. He went back to his shell and was only concerned with the welfare of his people just as the way Alex is concern about getting more power.
