I arrive at the garden and see Storm, so I walk up to him and we start walking around. "I know you are in love with Soren," says Storm, and I look at him, surprised

"I over heard my mother's lady in waiting Lady Reyja Bedite talking to your lady in waiting Lady Marina about it and you know they can spot love a mile away being descendants of Aphrodite the goddess of love I just wanted to let you know I'm sorry that you can't be with the one you love but I'm hoping that even though you can't love me that we can be friends that might make our marriage more bareable for you" he says

"Thank you, I would love to be friends with you, Storm," I say, smiling, and he smiles back.

After that, I go back inside, and soon a week passes as preparation for the coronation continues until the day finally arrives

On the day of my coronation, I'm in my room with my ladies in waiting. They help me into my blue, white, and gold ancient Greek-style outfit. The fine linen chiton was the color of a pale, morning sky, falling in delicate pleats that caught and softened the light. A ribbon of gleaming, braided gold thread was woven just above the hem, reflecting in the fabric with each step. The shoulders were fastened with elegant, polished gold fibulae, their embossed surface catching the light. As the wearer moved, the lighter cloth shifted to reveal a deeper, cerulean blue underskirt, a hidden luxury worn close to the skin. They also put my hair up with some beautiful gold hair ornaments.

After I'm dressed, I walk to the throne room and see my husband standing outside the door in a blue, white, and gold ancient Greek-style outfit. A chiton of pristine, snow-white linen fell to his ankles in dozens of soft pleats, each fold a whisper of his status. Over one shoulder, a himation of the deepest, richest lapis lazuli was draped, the heavy wool catching the light and emphasizing the chiton's delicate weave. Along the himation's edge, a border of gleaming golden laurel leaves was embroidered, a glimmering testament to his victories. A broad circlet of finely wrought gold was settled on his brow, the twin heads of a lion and griffin meeting at its center, with smaller rosettes framing the emblem. Golden serpents coiled around his upper arms, their eyes tiny flecks of emerald, while a heavy golden fibula pinned his cloak in place, glinting like a captured star. His feet were clad in embossed leather sandals, their crisscrossing straps buckled with shining gold.

I smile and take his hand as the doors start to open "announcing Imperial Crown Prince Storm Olympus a descendant of Zues and Imperial Crown Princess Atia Sarai daughter of Hades and granddaughter of Hera" the announcer says as me and Storm walk down the Isle and kneel on the steps in front of the throne as Lord Idur stands in front of my husband and Lady Gelene stands in front of me both holding a crown

"Will you solemnly promise and swear to govern the people of the Holy Olympus Empire regardless of race, according to our respective laws and customs," says Lord Idur

"I solemnly promise so to do," my husband and I say in unison

"Will to your power cause law and justice in mercy to be executed in all your Judgements," says Lady Gelene

"I will," my husband and I say in unison

"Will you, to the utmost of your power, maintain the laws of the gods and goddesses," says Lord Idur

"I will," husband and I say in unison

"I now pronounce you Emporer Storm Olympus, a descendant of Zeus, and Empress Atia Sarai Olympus, daughter of Hades and granddaughter of Hera," Lady Gelene and Lord Idur say in unison as they set the crowns on our heads, and we stand to face our new subjects smiling

"I object to this," we hear from the crowd then I see Soren step forward, and I frown in confusion

"I am the actual son of Zues so I'm more qualified to be Emporer than someone who's bloodline is so diluted but if you hand over the crown right now no one will get hurt" he says as I gape in surprise I hear my husband respond but I'm too shocked to listen to what he says then I see Soren muster up a lightning bolt and throw it a Storm but I manage to put up an ice wall just in time to block the attack

"Aw, yes, the daughter of Hades, you stopped me this time, but I'm not done yet."

He summons more lightning and charges at me. I block his attack with another wall of ice, then I counterattack, wrapping my hand in fire and punching him in the stomach.

He cries out in pain and backs away, but his not done yet, and some more lightning shaping it into a sword, so I summon a sword of fire as we clash again, our swords clashing against each other, causing a rain of fire and lightning, but I start pushing him back, so he jumps back out of reach.

I will return with an army, and I will burn this empire to the ground if I can't have the throne, then no one can," he says, and then he disappears. After that, we send everyone home for their safety, and Storm turns to me

"How are you doing? I know you love him, and I know you don't need me to remind you that you are the only one strong enough to beat him," he says

"I know right now I just need some time alone," I say sadly, and then I walk to my room

Soon after, my mom comes into my room, and I run into her arms and start crying

"Why would he do this? I'm the only one strong enough to beat him, but I don't think I can kill the man I love Mom," I say as I sob in her arms, and my ladies in waiting, maids, and guards leave the room

"I know you don't think you can do it, but you are stronger than you realize, and when the time comes, you will have to decide what is most important to you," she says

I end up falling asleep crying in her arms, and I wake up the next morning in my nightgown

"How are you doing this morning, Your Majesty?" says Marina

"Marina, you are a descendant of Aphrodite, so you know how in love with him I was, so please don't ask questions, you already know the answers to" I say sadly

"I'm sorry, Your Majesty, I had the maids run a bath for you. Maybe that'll help," she says

"Thank you, I say. I go into the bathroom and strip down, and then get into the bathtub. After my bath, my maids help me get dressed in a green gown with golden accents

I sit down to eat my breakfast, which is some fruit, cheese, and toast with coffee to drink, but I only eat the toast and drink the coffee, and I have the rest sent back

The day after the armies from our vassel states arrive, my husband and I hold a ball amongst all the nobility of the empire to announce that I'm pregnant with triplets, one son and two daughters, and everyone is ecstatic at the news I'm wearing a black gown covered with red roses. The gown was a raven-black gown that rustled with every movement, as if the midnight fabric was shedding thorns. But instead of thorns, delicate, hand-stitched red roses climbed its length, their petals a velvet counterpoint to the subtle, gilded thread that wove through the hemline. There's plenty of food and laughter as the nobles eat and dance. I see Laguna approaching, and I smile. "How are you doing?" Laguna asks me."I'm still a little sad about my mother's death and upset at Soren's treason, but other than that, I'm alright. I'm excited for the triplets. I'm glad you're here. I haven't seen you since the coronation.""Yes, well, now that I've graduated from Olympus Academy, my mother has been teachin

Along the bodice, golden thread bloomed into a pattern of intertwining vines and flowers, each stitch catching the light like liquid fire. The embroidery's gleam was matched only by the

Lady Marina Filimena POVIt's been a week since the funeral, and I'm worried about my Empress because she hasn't been the same since her mother was killed.I get out of bed early in the morning, like every morning, and get dressed in a gown with a light pink bodice and light blue skirt. The gown had the look of a spring garden in full bloom, with a blossom-pink bodice and a whisper-of-blue skirt, as though the sky had been caught and wrapped around my waist. After I'm dressed, I head to Her Majesty's room so that Akino and I can help her get dressed. We pick out a black gown with red roses on the bodice. The gown is as dramatic as the night sky. Crimson roses, intricately embroidered, bloomed across the fitted black velvet bodice, their petals so vivid they seemed still wet with morning dew. The skirt flowed from her waist in an opulent cascade of black silk and blood-red tulle, a striking dual-colored curtain that pooled at her feet like a painter's deepest shades. She picks at her f
