The Day We Said Goodnight

This is probably the most annoying of all! Mom leaves and Dad’s other family arrives. I can't accept it! annoying too much!

"Mom, can you just stay here? I won't allow Celeste to be left here with Dad's new family. Maybe what will they do to Celeste," Hiro said, My older brother.

"I can handle myself Hiro, but I won't let Mom leave," I said calmy. It's just a little and I'm about to cry.

"It's good that you're leaving Celestine. I can't stand to be with you here. Don't worry I'll take care of your child, I'll take good care of them. I'm Cassandra," Someone suddenly spoke to us.

The heck dad's hook.

"Wow! I thought the maid threw away the garbage, why is there anything left here? And look, the garbage is breathing and talking now," I said sarcastically.

She ignored what I said and faced a woman who was not very tall and was also holding a cup of coffee.

"Btw this is my precious daughter, Cassidy," She said happily.

"How dare you talk to my mom like that ?!" Cassidy yelled at me.

The thickness of her face to shout at me? she's still brave huh?

"Oh she's your mom? Well She's really your mother. You know why? You have the same habits," I said sarcastically.

I didn't wait for what they would say and I pulled mom and hiro but I still couldn't get away from my peripheral vision that she would pour me the coffee she was holding. I immediately took the umbrella held by hiro and opened it and blocked it in front of Cassidy. I saw the shock on her face. Didn’t she expect that I would act faster than her? I just laughed in my mind.

I glared at Cassidy before finally getting in the car.

After i delivered Mom and Hiro to the airport i went straight home. Hiro will be studying in Dubai for sure and Mom will be able to stay in London for a long time. For sure a big change will happen especially I have a share in dad’s attention.

When I entered the kitchen I caught Cassidy leaning against the sink and drinking fresh milk. Wow? she's really drinking my fresh milk huh?

"You know Celeste, if I were you I'd just leave here. You know it's hard to live with two families," she suddenly spoke as if annoyed.

"Well I'm not you. Why didn't you leave? Isn't that your suggestion?" I answer her back. I saw the annoyance on her face again.

I just felt that gun was pointed at my senses. I didn't react because I'm not afraid of this. I have also become accustomed to always being targeted by a gun because I also trained to hold a gun for almost three months before becoming trained to it.

I just smiled when dad suddenly came in without Cassidy noticing because it was behind her.

"You know Celeste, I'm full of you. I want you to disappear from the world, you know that? I only want dad's attention on us and not on you, not on hiro and especially not on your worthless mother!" she shouted in front of me. I just looked her in the eye and waited for her to say anything more.

"Are you done talking Cassidy? That's what you want to happen to my daughter? To your step sister? Do you know when you were born that was my proudest moment, but now you're such a disappointment!" full of authority dad said.

I smiled at Cassidy foolishly and whispered something to her. "Go on kill me in front of dad." I said sarcastically and then went straight to the bedroom and slept.

6am in the morning when I heard the speaker ring and dad spoke. "Come here to Basement Celeste. Now!" at Dad's sudden scream I immediately got up and put on proper clothes and went straight to the basement.

When I opened the door I saw Cassandra and dad screaming. I suddenly wondered what was really going on and they were screaming at this time.

"What happened Dad? It's too early. Did something happen?" I didn't feel like answering because I was still sleepy.

"Celeste, our company here in the Philippines is slowly losing money! Deusus Enterprise is bringing us down! They also have plans to take over as an Inc. I'm not sure what that is," I was shocked at Dad's attitude. Our company is not just falling apart because we are the second richest and strongest in all of asia.

When I returned to trance I immediately fiddled with my laptop and searched about Deusus Enterprise.

"I also found out that Apollo, one of our good spies, died. Before he died, someone emailed me that the two Empires were conspiring," dad added. That's how annoyed when my laptop was hacked and infected with a virus. Good and I made a way.

"But why are they conspiring? What's the matter? Is it because one of our companies is failing that it's just their infidelity?" My answer is full of authority. I don't know but there is something wrong with what is happening. How did the two empires conspire?

"For now let's see what their next step is. And if something bad happens then we will take action."

I nodded as did Cassidy. I remember that I was going to the mall today.

"Dad I just want you to know I'm going to the mall," I gave puppy eyes to dad. I know he will allow me but I also know that he will not allow me without bodyguards.

"Yeah okay, bring Cassidy along. It's like you have a closure," I immediately cursed in my mind. Wow! really with Cassidy? seriously?she's pointing a gun at me! Maybe you forgot that dad, hello?

"Okay no problem. Cassidy, get ready if you want, come with me," I said to Cassidy.

"Good! My two daughters are okay with each other. Just keep it up," Dad replied smiling. I saw Cassandra's surprised face. Maybe she didn't know that I was just forced to include her worthless daughter.

Dad called someone on his phone. "Jack, ready the car and ......" dad suddenly looked at me. Oh no! not even the bodyguards. I don't want to have bodyguards because they can distract everyone.

"..... The bodyguards," When he said, my face immediately wrinkled. I also saw that Cassidy's face wrinkled because of that. I think she also doesn’t want to have bodyguards with us.
