Terror settled in my guts at the sight in front of me.The woman who held me captive exploded right before my eyes with just a snap of Maddox's fingers.

It felt like a horror movie's scenes unwrapping one after another, the only difference being that I couldn't chill and everything cringes inside.

Maddox fell down flat against his back while those silhouettes still surrounding him.He wasn't even doing anything to prevent himself from them.

"Maddox!" My throat hurts with the yelling but I tried to call him still.

My heart hammered loudly in my chest at the very first thought that came to my head.

No..he can't lose against the demon.

I have to stop these silhouettes.I should be able to as they are formed with my blood.The wound in my stomach made it worse for me to move.

I focused on the blood that had been pooling around me.

'Leave him' I command.My eyes were slowly getting heavier but I commanded again, this time my anger rolled off me with strong force.
