I cried, looking at her body. The monster cut her head off, so she was definitely dead. I remember the time when she asked me to forgive her, but I ignored her. Now she is dead, with no proper goodbyes. How do I tell her I have forgiven her when she is dead? The only woman to ever treat me like a daughter is dead, and the worst thing is that my last memory of her is me walking out on her rudely without turning back.

“Ophelia, no!” I yelled crawling to her, but I couldn’t go to her. My body was shaking as I stared at her, then I looked away from her body. All the memories of her kept coming back. She was so full of life and smiles, but the world was cruel to her. I was cruel to her.

“You are a monster; how can you kill your own mother?” I asked, still kneeling on my knees.
