I walk through the palace, heading straight to Octavia’s and Silver’s offices because I have a gut feeling they will be there. I got a lot of stares because I look like shit, and I don’t blame them, but not like I care. I got to the office, and the guards were outside, but they didn’t stop me from entering. I opened the door, and Octavia, Silver, and Axel were here, sorting out papers. They looked at me from head to toe, shock clear on their faces.

“What happened to you?” Silver asked, still looking at me. I breathe out tiredly, going to the red couch. I slumped in the chair, looking at the ceiling. There was no doubt I was exhausted. The walk from the woods to the kingdom and then to the palace took me hours. My legs are shaking. If I am coming out of the border, Octavia will either teleport us or Asher will fly us, but I had to walk that long distance. I am sure it took me almost 3 hours to walk, and I would have changed to my wolf, but she is silent because of the bond
