Chapter 15

Yushiro finally made it back inside the castle. In the throne room, he bends one knee, lowered his head down in front of the king who is sitting on the throne.

"Father, my guard had failed me in executing the crown prince of Yami." It hurts his ego to say it but he has to admit to his defeat. "I deserve to be punished for my carelessness."

"I do not expect anything from you, my son. But I acknowledge how you work hard just to lose," says the King.

Yushiro secretly glares at his father's remarks. Before raising his head, he dismissed the scorn on his face and pretends to be sorry.

"Forgive me, father." He has gone tired of this act but it is the only door for him to sit on that throne. It is not to be called king that he wishes for but for an army and authority.
