Elisha’s POV

I let out a scream of agony as I strained to bear the pain. Steffina extracted all the golden bullets from my flesh with her fangs and her bare hands. I shook in pain, and all I could see was hazy pixels.

"Don't sleep, just bear the pain!" she whispered. "You'll lose yourself if you sleep..." She smiled at me and took the last bullet inside. "You'll be fine in a few hours, but we still need to get out of here, and take you to the hospital."

I stood up, "I'm not leaving this place without Arman."

As she helped me walk down the hall, I opened my mouth to breathe properly and quietly cried. The second time we took the elevator, I put my hand on hers and said, "Thank you."

She smiled at me, and hugged me. “Everything is going to be fine, Elisha….Baby Kaiser is waiting for you. You need to stay strong.”

The elevator opened to the top floor, but we didn't see anyone there. I said, "Just find Farkas, and I'm going to find Arman."
