Chapter 4- Damien

I am drowning. My body feels so heavy. There is light ahead but I can't reach it. Everything is black except for the light source. How am I breathing in the water? Shouldn't I be choking?

Hold on a second. How the hell did I get in the water? I don't remember anything.

Well that explains her behaviour. She will be a huge liability to the pack and off course to me. After so much wait, all I get is a weak human mate. My wolf side is constricting me for disrespecting my mate but it’s the truth. I have other important things to do than keeping a weak human safe.

“Oh hello there Mr. Frankenstein.” She said sarcastically.

I ignored her. I don’t want to listen to a stupid human banter.

“How the hell did I get a human for a mate? I mean come on.” I groaned to myself.

“If you are done talking to yourself, mind scooting a little? I have important things to do.” She said putting up a brave front.

I smelt her fear though. Brave little thing, are we?

No way in the hell is she going anywhere, even if I have to barricade her for life to protect her. Well I do need an heir.

“You are not going anywhere.” I ordered.

“Who the hell do you think you are to order me around? Get out of my way.” She said angrily to me.

Oh babe you made a huge mistake. Nobody disrespects me. Especially a human. I slammed her in the wall. My face inches from her. I had this major urge to kiss her right there but I controlled myself.

“You will not disrespect me. I am your mate and alpha. You will follow my orders at any cost. And you are coming with me whether you like it or not.” I snarled.

“You can shove your orders up your ass for all I care. I don’t want anything to do with you. I don’t even know you for heaven’s sake. So back off.”

Well that wasn’t the answer that I expected to come out of her mouth. Feisty little thing she is for a pathetic human. I got to teach her a lesson. I smirked at her. She looked at me confused.

I tilted her head to the side and marked her making her scream in pain. I shut her mouth with my hand and griped her tight around her waist. I tasted her delicious blood. I licked the wound to seal it. Some of the blood still escaped.

I stepped back smirking at her. Her face was tear stained. She looked miserable. She put her hand on her neck and winced. I had this urge to comfort her but I stopped myself. It’s just the mate bond messing with my head. I was going to do this easy way but she brought this upon herself.

I can see the wheels spinning in her head. She eyed the door. She wants to run? Huh like you can outrun me. I wanted to laugh so badly but I controlled myself.

She turned towards the door and swayed on her feet. The mark must be draining her energy. She took another step and swayed again. Adrian moved ahead to help her but I stopped him. I want to see how long she can try.

For a human she is pretty strong willed.

“If I die from Rabies here, I will haunt your ass for eternity.” She said acidly to me and slumped to the ground.

Did she just call me a dog? The others snickered behind me. I will teach them a lesson later. Her eyes started to close. Adrian moved forward and caught her a few seconds before her head can hit the ground.

This pissed me off even more. Nobody should touch her other than me. A growl escaped my lips. I will let it go this time as he did save her head from hitting the ground. Who knows how weak this human is? I don’t want her to die before giving me my heir.

“Caiden get the plane ready. We are leaving as soon as possible. I want my mate at the pack house before she wakes up.” I ordered.

“But Alpha we can’t just get her and leave without her will. This will count as kidnapping.” He argued.

“Do I look like I care? She is my mate and she will be staying wherever I want her to be. She doesn’t have a say in this.”

“What if someone reports her missing? Her family will come searching for her.”

“Fake her death or erase her records. I don't care.  I want her to have no way out and no one to go to.”

Caiden and the three boys stared at me in horror.

“Damien, this is cruel. What the hell are you thinking?” Caiden asked horrified.

Well I am cruel. They should have known this by now.

“I just want you to cut her off of the world. Her only world will be the world I exist in. Once I get what I want, she can go wherever she wants. Till then I want her to be cut out of the world other than the pack. This whole conversation stays in between us. No one should know about this, not even the fact that she is my mate. That’s an order.”

Everyone bowed in submission.

“Yes Alpha.” They agreed together.

“But Alpha you marked her. The pack will know anyway.” Evan said.

“I will take care of that. Just get the damn plane ready.”

Caiden called the pilot of our plane to get it ready. We left for the airport immediately. Adrian carried her the whole time. Evan and Cole also looked worried. They said they are coming with us no matter what. Well it’s their choice. If they want to fail at the last moment of their college, so be it. I am not responsible for that.
