Chapter 53- Evelyn
Someone tugged at my pants. I looked down to find the second youngest princess looking at me curiously. I smiled at her. She looked almost nine or ten. Then she sniffed me. I felt Daniel tense.
“I like your scent. It’s different.” She said looking at me with big adorable eyes.
I looked at Daniel awkwardly. I didn’t know what to say. Is it a good thing or bad thing?
“Yeah I noticed that too.” The king interjected. “You have an unusual scent.”
“I don’t know what you are talking about.” I murmured confused and a little scared.
This is not how we thought the ball will be going. I hope my stupid scent won’t cause any problems.
“You are a human right?” He asked. I nodded. “This scent usually belongs to the royals and their mates after they are marked by the royal. I don’t know why you carry this particular scent but it’s quite interesting. A human with the scent of a royal werewolf.” He said.
