Chapter 12

David's face twisted with anger as he glared at Anna. "Watch your words Anna," he spat, his voice laced with fury. "This is my home, and you are asking me to get out of my own room?"

Anna felt a mix of anger and sadness well up inside her as she looked at David. She knew that their relationship was over, but she couldn't help but feel hurt by his words. A single tear trickled down her cheek, and she quickly brushed it away.

"Fine," she said, her voice cold and controlled. "I'll leave. Who wants to live in your hell, anyway? You and me in the same room? In your dreams, you monster."

Anna turned to leave, but before she could take a step, David grabbed her arm with a force that almost knocked her off balance. She struggled to free herself, but his grip was too tight. In a sudden, violent motion, he pulled her towards him and pushed her up against the wall.

Anna gasped in pain as her back hit the hard surface, and she felt a wave of fear wash over her. She had never seen David like this
