Chapter 7

As Anna's brother stormed out of the room, Anna felt a deep sense of sadness and regret wash over her. She had always been close to her brother, and she hated to see him leave without even saying goodbye. As the tears streamed down her face, she ran to her room and locked the door behind her.

Once inside, Anna made a beeline for the bathroom, still wearing her wedding dress. She felt dirty and ashamed, and the cool water of the shower seemed like the only thing that could wash away her pain. She sat down in the tub, fully clothed, and let the water flow over her.
