Aurora’s POV…

“Stay with me.” I exhaled when he was about to leave, I can’t do this alone.

Last night he earned my respect; he was right, I will regret if we had done anything, he didn’t take advantage of my weakness and feelings, instead he came back with a blanket and had someone make me food.

Maybe Dominic Ricci is not as horrible as everyone says he is.

“Candice.” I gasped when I looked at the coffin, Beside her was Blake's casket, and beside it was a baby coffin, for their baby, it's empty.

I looked back at Dominic, who stared at me with a look I had never seen in his eyes.

“I know you don’t blame me for what happened and I know you will never maybe that’s one of the greatest things about you, you are more forgiving than any human I have ever met, maybe this was all his plan, for you and Blake to have a home in heaven, a forever home where you love and care for each other, you didn’t deserve this to happen to you, you didn’t deserve to get hurt and ruined, we both d

He held my hand in his as he led us into the club, the purple and red lights flashed against my eyes a couple of times before I got used to it, the vibrant music filled my ears, warning my heart to some extent and I had a frown on my face We settled down. Dominic leaned in toward me and I felt his hot breath against my ear, at that moment. I knew he wanted to whisper something. “You are with me Aurora, you don’t fear anyone.” He murmured, I felt my knees go weak at his words and he placed a kiss against my ears, replacing the warmth in my body with pure heat, for him. One hand was on my thigh and the other hand was wrapped around me, I felt my body reacting to his touch and the music when someone walked into the VIP lounge, a woman to be specific.

“No, you don’t get to yell and pull me away this time.” I cried. “What is this, Why can’t I recall anything, What do you know about me?” I breathed out. Dominic took two strides toward me and I took one away from him, but his arms had reached out for me and pulled me into an embrace as I sobbed, he couldn’t hide the truth anymore, he couldn’t tell me to calm down and do nothing about it. I needed to know what was going on, I needed to know. “Tell me,” I whispered against my breath and I tried to pull away from me, After a few attempts, I was able to pull away from him. “You were never meant to find any of this.” “Your brother exists,” I murmured. “I have seen him before, Your mom did all she could to make me believe he didn’t exist, but he did,” I said. “He always did.” Dominic resorted, his voice low and calm when I stared into his eyes, I realized that he felt bad, his icy blue eyes were clouded with sadness. “Just tell me, if you don’t tell me, you lose me, Dominic.

“What did she say to you?” Dominic asked again, and I glanced at him with my heart in my throat, unsure of what to say. “She uh… she said you never had a brother,” I murmured and he frowned, his eyes filled with darkness as he looked at me. “Do you believe her?” He asked and I shook my head. “No, I get a bad feeling when I am close to her and my instincts never lie.” He takes two strides toward me and his warm hand gently placed against my back, as he dragged me closer to him, his jaw ticking with anger, and his eyes closed for a second. “She wanted you to leave because she doesn’t want me to feel, she wants me to fall into the darkness and she said things to scare you, make you realize that you are better off and she is aware that, if you attempt to leave, it could led to your death because those people are out there, yet she didn’t care because she wants me in the image of her perfectly dead son,” Dominic spoke, every word, every strange was filled with sadness, filled w

The rain hasn’t stopped and the wind never fails at making the windows cause noise, I was still here and Dominic hasn’t said a word since he told me what he did, his words still echoed in my mind and my heart filled with questions. Why didn’t I run away? Why didn’t I yell at him? All these portraits in the whole house, it was never him, it was his brother, in a twisted way, my heart ached for more, Why did he kill him, Why did they never photograph or paint Dominic, What happened between them? His eyes were haunted and his jaw clenched as he waited for me to attempt the door. “I am still here,” I whispered against my breath. “You should not be.” Dominic said quietly, “You should run away, you should yell at me and call me a monster.” I glanced at him before I stood up and I took a few strides toward him, my eyes leaning into his. “You had a reason, you would never hurt him without one, I see the way they look and talk to you, no one is on your side,” I whispered. “

The Ricci estate is glamorous, large, and beautiful and just when I thought Dominic had so many guards, this place has more than I would have thought. His mother, Darling Ricci, she is warm and welcoming, nice like he said she is, but they scared me, his father was cold and didn’t speak much, just like Dominic and the home was filled with paintings, painting of the family. To anyone, they would look like a perfect family, but to Dominic it’s something more sinister and I trusted his judgment. “Tell us about your family, darling.” Darling asked, with a full smile on her face. “We came here for dinner and not for a chit-chat mother.” Dominic replied harshly, I rarely wanted to be any part of this. One of his hand was on my thigh, it was confusing that knowing he was here calmed me down. “Stop staring at her.” Dominic said calmly without even looking up, when I glanced around, I realized his father was staring at me. “She just looks so much like her.” Darling said.
