Dominique took his cue and eventhough he felt better that he had revealed his secrets about the car and the office as well as the townhouses, he knew that questions were going to come.
“Thank you for your time Ari and we look forward to hearing from you soon.”
Marsha Martin rolled over in the bed and felt for her husband and could not find him. The pillow was cold and so was the sheet. “Again!.” She muttered and hissed her teeth and reached for the cellphone on the bedside table to check the time. The light from the phone caused her eyelids to squint. “What! It is 3:30am and no Dominique.” She said and sighed heavily “This madness has to stop. Is this blasted business more important than me now?” She asked.

My mind was still uneasy and I played over and over what Manny had told him. I could see Larissa's mouth moving but his ears did not catch a word of what she had been talking about until she slapped me on my hand that clutched the bottle of corona beer.

The sound of a turbocharged car caught his ear, and Dominique turned and watched as the black four-door Sedan in pristine condition with chrome rims, roared past them. It instantly brought back memories for Dominique. He smiled.“Hey, what are you smiling about?” Marsha asked.
“Marsha each time we have porridge together I think of you as Goldilocks sampling the bowls of porridge in the bears in the cabin trying to find one with the temperature that was just right." He chuckled as he spoke, causing few kernels to leak between the cup and lip falling on his white starched shirt.
