Chapter Thirty Seven

Dan was operating on his laptop in his study. Just then Melanie walked in with a hot cup of coffee. She placed it on the table and walked over to him.

"What are you doing?" She asked him.

"I'm looking at ways that we can make Rose's surgery successful..." He said and groaned, touching his head

"You need to rest, you just recovered..." She said touching his hair.

"We have to do what we can do to save her but right I don't think it's possible. We just have to hope.." He said and she sighed.

"I really don't want Rose to die but I honestly don't know what to do..." She said.

"We will try our best..." He said and dragged her to sit on his laps and her eyes widened immediately.

"Hey, what are you doing?" She said trying to stand up but he held her firmly by her waist.

"What normal couples do?" He replied with a smirk and leaned closer to her and bit her earlobe softly and she moaned and closed her eyes.
