Chapter Thirty Eight

Melanie slowly calmed down and slowly fell asleep, her head buried in his chest. Dan sighed and looked down at her. He smiled when he noticed that she was asleep.

He gently pulled her away and placed her on the bed softly. He kissed her forehead gently and caressed her hair.

He laid beside her staring at her face and then he drew closer to her and she groaned sleepily and placed her head on his chest. Dan smiled again and kissed her hair softly before he closed his eyes and let sleep take over.

The next morning.

Melanie groaned and then yawned before she stretched her body. She rolled from one side to the bed and then she opened her eyes. She really slept well today. It was like she had the best sleep on her life. She turned to the other side and noticed that Dan was not there.

Where could he be?" She asked herself. She stood up and yawned before wearing her flip flops and then she opened the door and walked out. The mansion was really big and she didn't know where to find him
