(Sienna’s POV)

"Tell me your name."

I smirked, swirling the golden liquid in my glass. "Now, where’s the fun in that?"

The man beside me, tall, dark, and dangerously handsome, chuckled. His lips curled at the edges, his silver watch glinting under the dim bar lights. Everything about him screamed power.

He leaned in, whiskey-laced breath tickling my skin. "So, you like mystery?"

I took a slow sip of my drink, eyes locked on his. "I like control."

His expression darkened, amused and intrigued. "Is that right?"

I tilted my head, letting the silence stretch. Letting him wait.

Then, I leaned closer, my voice barely above a whisper.

"Are you going to keep talking, or are you going to do something about it?"

His eyes flashed.

And just like that, I knew I had him….

My back hit the cool glass window of his penthouse, his lips devouring mine like a man starved.

Strong hands gripped my waist, pulling me against his firm body. His touch was possessive, demanding exactly what I needed.

I let him take control this time, let him pin me against the glass, his breath ragged.

No names. No attachments.

Just fire and intense passion.

The first rays of dawn crept through the window as I sat up, brushing my hair out of my face.

He was still asleep, his breathing deep, steady.

I slid out of bed, careful not to make a sound.

Leaving before sunrise was my rule.

It was always easier this way, no awkward goodbyes, no expectations.

I put on my clothes, grabbed my heels and slipped out the door quietly.

************

Days Later

"You’re getting reckless, Sienna."

Harper’s voice barely registered as I took another sip of my cocktail, eyes scanning the room. Hunting.

I leaned back in my chair, my silk dress clinging to my curves. "Reckless is fun."

Harper sighed. "You’re impossible. Your father would…."

"My father thinks I’m in bed, resting like a good little girl who's preparing for her wedding." I smirked, tilting my glass in a mock toast. "So, technically, I’m being obedient."

Harper gave me a look. "You’re unbelievable."

I simply shrugged.

Then, I saw him.

A new stranger.

Dark hair. Sharp jawline. A presence that commanded the room without even trying.

Interesting.

Harper followed my gaze and groaned. "Oh, God. Sienna…."

I was already sliding off my chair. "Don’t wait up."

She cursed under her breath. "You’re insane."

I winked. "I know."

Hours Later…..

This one was different.

He wasn’t just confident—he was dangerous.

His fingers traced the rim of his glass as he watched me approach, his smirk slow, deliberate.

"You don’t waste time, do you?"

I slid onto the stool beside him, ordering a whiskey. "Neither do you."

He chuckled, shaking his head. "Most women play hard to get."

"Most women aren’t me."

His gaze darkened. "No, they’re not."

I felt it again. That brief, fleeting moment of hesitation.

A tiny voice whispering, This is getting out of control.

I drowned it with another drink.

My breath hitched as his hands traced my body, rough yet deliberate.

"You're trouble," he murmured against my skin.

I smirked. "And you're irresistible."

His low chuckle sent shivers through me. "You don’t even know my name."

I pressed my lips to his neck, tasting the faint hint of whiskey. "And I don’t need to."

His fingers tightened on my hips, and we both drowned in the fire.

I left before sunrise.

Again.

Three nights. Three strangers.

No names. No regrets.

But something felt... different this time.

A tension curled in my stomach, a strange feeling I couldn't shake.

Like a warning.

But I ignored it.

Because the only thing that mattered was that I was free. At least for now.

I stepped into the estate, slipping through the grand doors like a thief in my own home. The sun was just beginning to rise, casting an eerie glow through the vast hallways.

I was almost to my room when….

"Sienna." I froze.

My father stood at the top of the staircase, arms crossed, expression unreadable.

"Come downstairs," he ordered. "We need to talk."

My stomach dropped.

I followed him into the dining hall, where my mother sat in pristine elegance, a cup of tea in her manicured hands.

She glanced at me but said nothing.

Then, my father spoke. "The wedding date has been finalized."

Silence.

A ringing filled my ears.

He continued, unfazed by the way my fingers clenched into fists.

"In three weeks, you will be married."

Three weeks.

Three weeks.

Harper ’s words from earlier echoed in my mind. "You’re getting reckless, Sienna."

My heart pounded because what I didn’t realize what I never even considered was that my recklessness had consequences.

And soon…I would come to regret them.

SAFE HAVENSIENNA’S POVI looked around before halting in steps as Julian greeted an investor making me do the same and afterwards, we finally took a spot to stand in as we watched the pianist perform on the stage. My gaze locked on the performer’s fingers, how they moved with the rhythm, how slender they were and how swift he played, it all made sense as I stared at the familiarity – Nathaniel. His hands were so sexy that the flashes of that night occurred to my brain, the ones he had let those fingers trail my body and where he got me to lick them before putting them in my vagina. My thighs clenched, I was already getting wet just at the thought and Julian’s hands that stayed wrapped around my waist made me yearn for more. Saliva formed in my throat as I imagined Nathaniel’s sexy presence here and I could bet my insanity in an instant. I wanted him here, not Julian’s disgusting wraps against my waist or even the wet kisses he had to plant on neck once he saw cameras swinging to o

MEDIA'S GAME. NATHANIEL’S POVMy eyes darted through the hall in search of Sienna. I grunted in frustration as there was no sight of her at the event as I ran my hands through my already straightened hair as I tapped my feet against the floor impatiently as the thought of her husband rushed to my mind. The place was wrapped with the clinking of wine glasses and laughter that reigned in the room. It was the kind of laughter that reminded every person of their places. It was the kind of laughter that conveyed the best meaning of ambition even if people had to go to all extremes of lying. My eyes scanned their presence as it followed the movement of their dinner dress’ wings as it flowed behind the women who laughed loudly with dark red lipsticks painted to my mouth and that irritated me. I rolled my eyes at the number of women who swarmed the entrance, these were the kind of women that flocked around top investors for one or two in return even if it meant flirting. I turned my at

THE GALASIENNA’S POVA cold air fanned against my skin as I swallowed dryly and from the way he stared at me, it felt like taking back the daring words I had spilled and that I just had to turn back or find an excuse away from those words. But I stood firm and rigid enough that I saw his eyes waver with a flicker in his eyes. I was daring and he — as he rose from the couch and found his feet meeting the cold marble floor, I perceived the challenge. Yet…It was only one person who needed to winI formed my feminine hands into a promising fist as I could read the fragile strength it had in them. He hissed and I smirked. It was alright, he could just look down against a queen and think it was the usual pawn and always, meanwhile - it had all changed. I stared at his back with disdain as his presence faded from my sight. I let my lips curl into a slow crawling smirk as my mind drifted to Nathaniel. That night I had spent at his home felt so peaceful except the rigidity that always

A CHALLENGE. SIENNA’S POV. Although he had hung up the call on me, what better way to make an announcement if not show up when a predator least expected his prey to?“Are you sure about this, Sienna? You’re risking it all already.” Harper spoke softly as if she was being careful. I stopped in the middle of packing my clothing into my suitcase as I straightened up and took my hands to rest upon my chest while my eyes rested on her face. She shrugged and after some silence, Harper walked up to me with concern lacing on every part of her face as she patted my hands with hers gently when I spoke jokingly yet taunting. “See who asked me to move in with Julian just some hours ago.” I mouthed with my chin tight and brow furrowed as I didn’t break any contact with her eyes. “No babe. This is so unexpected and different.” she groaned in defence as she pulled away from me gently while raising my head with a finger to my jaw so our eyes met.Her eyes stayed wandering, soft yet daring and r

BY MY RULES. JULIAN’S POV"Hello, Sienna," My cold voice cuts through the phone, I put both my hands to my ear as I gripped the phone tighter as I felt my veins threaten to shoot out of my arms.Silence reigned for a moment as none of us spoke except from the stillness of the house and the air wave that passed while I stood by the window that seemed as if it fell like a rhythm to the nervousness I could feel despite breathing rigid as I looked out like I expected something from the scenery outdoor. I took out my hands from the phone after I had found my composed self as I aided it to my pocket as I let out a cold breath before speaking. "I want you to come back home. I am going to personally take care of the investors. I don't want you bothering about these things. Just... tell me your location and I'll send a driver to come pick you." I said as if in a rush or maybe I was. I could not keep my calm anymore and if I had to entice her with somethings, I’d do it but with the deafeni

SIENNA’S POVI took my hands to my mouth as I muffled my tears calling unto Harper who didn't cut off the hug as she pulled me in closer and tighter letting me place my head onto her shoulders as she spoke to me in comfort. “Cry all you want, baby.” her voice came off calm and soft spoken as always and although it was meant to keep me from crying, my broken voice echoed in the apartment as tears kept slipping down my eyeballs. They soothe me just as they ought to and did. I had stopped crying that the only thing that reigned in the house was my mumbling stomach and sniffing the tears I had shed back in. My eyes darted the room as I watched her figure pace the room for a while as she kept cursing out. “Those motherfuckers really have no idea what their prey goes through, do they?” although it sounded like a question, it was one not to respond to. And with her fist pressed tight to her chin like the one she would punch to the jaw was just right around when she spoke the unbelievable

CHASING HER BACK. JULIAN’S POV“You’re pregnant.” I muttered while standing up to meet her level and still ended up staggering backwards as she walked closer to my reach and leaned in for a while. A wave of heat rushed through my body as the tension thickened with secrets but she stayed not saying anything, yet she remained still with her breath fanning against my face as she replied nonchalantly. “Yes” she replied as my grip on the briefcase tightened, my brain spiraled in a daze as surprise took a hold of me like some joke and without warning, yet even though I had always felt that she was capable of just anything, my shoulders tensed at this realization or maybe not?Was this a result of one of those many nights? Confusion took a stance within me as I stared at my eyes filled with disbelief and my chest? It tightened with a feeling of betrayal that I could feel a glint of sadness fall at the edge of my lips. But I was getting to the root of things. I raised my eyes to meet her

A RISING QUEEN.SIENNA'S POVI walked into Harper's apartment lazily as I closed the door softly behind me before taking off my coat and folded it as I laid it onto the couch. I groaned lazily as I threw my bag to the end of the bed and tucked myself in with a blanket over my head. All of a sudden, the cold air was not biting through my skin; instead, it was a rush of heat. Hot, sweaty and uncomfortable yet I could not raise the blanket away from me.Sweat clouded my face and neck that I could feel them even in my palms and feet, my body shivered for no reasons per say and when I forced myself to sit upright even though I saw fever already knocking in — first thing I did was drag in my bag as I scrolled the online space. My mouth opened wide, there was me and Nathaniel in Harper's apartment and I in his home. My body stiffened as I stared at the photos that were taken of us — the angles well proportioned and anyone could tell it was no fake photos or even photoshopped.I threw my pho

THE OUTBURST ( I AM PREGNANT!)SIENNA'S POV.I walked into my father's office with a shrug on my shoulders as meeting at his office after every board meeting has become constant and an almost everyday thing to do. I was in a well tailored carton colored suit with a loafer on my leg as I strode down his office floor. He unlocked the door and there it was — revealing his majestic office. I let a smirk crawl into my face as I rolled my eyes before sitting down. “The company is burning at a loss and we'd need you in for that.“ Now he knows to accept there's nothing to do without me. He should have given it unto Julian or even Elliot and his convoy, Dominic. Why call me now that the shareholders were turning against him?And there was just one person. One person to put these whole things in order. I raised my head to look at him as my gaze fell on his face while darting to his lips and then he blurted out..“Mr Philips.“I flunked my eyes open, wide in surprise. 'The same man Julian
