(Sienna’s POV)

"Tell me your name."

I smirked, swirling the golden liquid in my glass. "Now, where’s the fun in that?"

The man beside me, tall, dark, and dangerously handsome, chuckled. His lips curled at the edges, his silver watch glinting under the dim bar lights. Everything about him screamed power.

He leaned in, whiskey-laced breath tickling my skin. "So, you like mystery?"

I took a slow sip of my drink, eyes locked on his. "I like control."

His expression darkened, amused and intrigued. "Is that right?"

I tilted my head, letting the silence stretch. Letting him wait.

Then, I leaned closer, my voice barely above a whisper.

"Are you going to keep talking, or are you going to do something about it?"

His eyes flashed.

And just like that, I knew I had him….

My back hit the cool glass window of his penthouse, his lips devouring mine like a man starved.

Strong hands gripped my waist, pulling me against his firm body. His touch was possessive, demanding exactly what I needed.

I let him take control this time, let him pin me against the glass, his breath ragged.

No names. No attachments.

Just fire and intense passion.

The first rays of dawn crept through the window as I sat up, brushing my hair out of my face.

He was still asleep, his breathing deep, steady.

I slid out of bed, careful not to make a sound.

Leaving before sunrise was my rule.

It was always easier this way, no awkward goodbyes, no expectations.

I put on my clothes, grabbed my heels and slipped out the door quietly.

************

Days Later

"You’re getting reckless, Sienna."

Harper’s voice barely registered as I took another sip of my cocktail, eyes scanning the room. Hunting.

I leaned back in my chair, my silk dress clinging to my curves. "Reckless is fun."

Harper sighed. "You’re impossible. Your father would…."

"My father thinks I’m in bed, resting like a good little girl who's preparing for her wedding." I smirked, tilting my glass in a mock toast. "So, technically, I’m being obedient."

Harper gave me a look. "You’re unbelievable."

I simply shrugged.

Then, I saw him.

A new stranger.

Dark hair. Sharp jawline. A presence that commanded the room without even trying.

Interesting.

Harper followed my gaze and groaned. "Oh, God. Sienna…."

I was already sliding off my chair. "Don’t wait up."

She cursed under her breath. "You’re insane."

I winked. "I know."

Hours Later…..

This one was different.

He wasn’t just confident—he was dangerous.

His fingers traced the rim of his glass as he watched me approach, his smirk slow, deliberate.

"You don’t waste time, do you?"

I slid onto the stool beside him, ordering a whiskey. "Neither do you."

He chuckled, shaking his head. "Most women play hard to get."

"Most women aren’t me."

His gaze darkened. "No, they’re not."

I felt it again. That brief, fleeting moment of hesitation.

A tiny voice whispering, This is getting out of control.

I drowned it with another drink.

My breath hitched as his hands traced my body, rough yet deliberate.

"You're trouble," he murmured against my skin.

I smirked. "And you're irresistible."

His low chuckle sent shivers through me. "You don’t even know my name."

I pressed my lips to his neck, tasting the faint hint of whiskey. "And I don’t need to."

His fingers tightened on my hips, and we both drowned in the fire.

I left before sunrise.

Again.

Three nights. Three strangers.

No names. No regrets.

But something felt... different this time.

A tension curled in my stomach, a strange feeling I couldn't shake.

Like a warning.

But I ignored it.

Because the only thing that mattered was that I was free. At least for now.

I stepped into the estate, slipping through the grand doors like a thief in my own home. The sun was just beginning to rise, casting an eerie glow through the vast hallways.

I was almost to my room when….

"Sienna." I froze.

My father stood at the top of the staircase, arms crossed, expression unreadable.

"Come downstairs," he ordered. "We need to talk."

My stomach dropped.

I followed him into the dining hall, where my mother sat in pristine elegance, a cup of tea in her manicured hands.

She glanced at me but said nothing.

Then, my father spoke. "The wedding date has been finalized."

Silence.

A ringing filled my ears.

He continued, unfazed by the way my fingers clenched into fists.

"In three weeks, you will be married."

Three weeks.

Three weeks.

Harper ’s words from earlier echoed in my mind. "You’re getting reckless, Sienna."

My heart pounded because what I didn’t realize what I never even considered was that my recklessness had consequences.

And soon…I would come to regret them.

LUST OR LOVE SIENNA’S POV. “Someone walked into my study and from the look of things…” My mind spiraled engraved into fear as I leaned in tight and unto the shelf as Nathaniel rained orders just like snow. Silence reigned. A cold one. I hiccuped, their eyes darted around, Could they have noticed? But I chose to stay. Hiding had to be the best option at the moment. “Check who is responsible for tampering with my documents.” Nathaniel finally spat as Robert walked out of the study in an obedient gesture. I had sneaked into the room in the past week to take some documents so as to dig secrets of this acting cool kind of man I was already tripping for. And even though I hadn’t reviewed any of them, I still found my way in here to take more and now, if I didn’t get lock in the study, I would get caught. My shoulders dropped as mind dropped in defeat. Either Nathaniel would find out and since I was already messing just more than enough, I might have to face his wrath. He st

PREMONITION. NATHANIEL’S POV.We had sex that all that filled the room was gasps and a manly breath invading the normalcy that ought to hang in the air. I parted my lips just in a way by jaw dropped as I licked my lips and growled like a wild beast. I was injured, yet I wanted to have all of her just under my torso, I wanted to dig into her and with us slamming our lips against each other, my lips curled into a crowning smile. She wanted me and I did too. Her hands ran my chest before her fingers started to unbutton the strength of the buttons on them. We fvcked raw. She moaned, I poured all of me into her and with all that filled the room was the racing and uneven breath we let out with the slapping of my manhood anywhere it dug inside her. I woke up to an barren space at the other side of the bed, I looked around fully recalling what we had last night but the mansion breathed just eerily silence. My heart thumped and for no reason whatsoever that I could find. She couldn’t hav

THE MORNING AFTER.SIENNA’S POV.We separated as soon as we reached our peak. I thought my actions would make me stop feeling guilty. But instead, the guilt accelerated. Having sex with Nathaniel piled up my list of remorse.I faked my fatigue and sleep. I didn’t want him to know the guilt was still hitting me. As much as I wanted him to comfort me and assure everything was going to be alright, I felt like this was the pain I had to face all by myself. My deep thoughts led me into a deep sleep. Even my dreams weren’t spared. I was reminded of every single deed that ended up being my fault. I woke up to find Nathaniel still sleeping beside me. His enormous hands were wrapped around my chest. The urge to touch his perfect face burned in me. But I couldn’t bear to touch them. Not when I’m not done atoning for my wrong doings. He should hate me rather than just forgiving me. I always wondered why Nathaniel protected me. Did he do it because he had a plan for me? Did he do it because he

THE FIRST NIGHT.NATHANIEL’S POV.As I hurried into my room to treat my bleeding arm, my fatigue kicked in. I fell to the ground before my brain could process what was going on.My breath became heavier, containing my pains in the best way possible. I wasn’t going to give in to surrendering. Not especially while I’m in my comfort zone. Calling someone to help me treat my wound would show signs of weakness. I battled with cutting a bandage, getting more blood on it before it even found its way around my arm. I blamed Sienna for putting me in this predicament. If it wasn’t for her, everyone would be safe. My anger for her got me through cleaning the blood on my shoulder. I bit hard on a cut out plastic bottle to diffuse the pain. This move of mine didn’t deescalate the pain.I found my body giving out. My mind wanted to go on, to finish what I started. But my body protested. That was when I saw her creep around the room. She had hurt me before in so many ways. But for this pain, I

SURRENDER.NATHANIEL’S POV.I totally went out of control. She finally saw me for the monster I truly am. I hope she sees things from my perspective once I wake up.As I carried her, limping on one foot, face covered in blood, I heard the sound of another helicopter getting more and more audible as it got closer to the building. I suspected Dominic would have come back with reinforcements because he was too much of a coward to face me all by himself. I placed Sienna in a safe space getting back into the game. I’ve never given up in a fight. This won’t be an exception. As I reloaded my guns, I sneaked out only to see Robert leading our group of A list bodyguards.“Stand down Robert.” I raised my voice before coming out. My men were trained to kill on sight. Even if I had come out of my hiding place slowly, they would have put at least seven bullets in me. “Everybody stand down!” Robert clenched his fists into the air and all guns were brought down. “Sienna is down. I need a quick e

TOUCH OF DEATH.NATHANIEL’S POV.I parked my vehicle five buildings away from where I headed to avoid suspicion. Calling my men would have delayed. They would have thought of the best plan to get her back which would have taken a lot of time. The longer she waited, the more she was in danger. And I saw this as an opportunity to get my groove back. Sienna slipped out of my own house unnoticed and that’s why I had to be careful. I needed to ensure I wasn’t slipping too. I stood from the building opposite the targeted one, my eyes peeping through the slightest form of moonlight. I needed to know what was going on to be ready to face the number of liable threats I would have to face inside. My movement was sleek and accurate. Every surveillance turned away before I moved. My breathe was almost cut short with my decision to not make the smallest sound.Ascending in the building I noticed the more stairs I climbed, the more men I found guarding each step. This meant Sienna was close an
