POV: Seraphina

---

The iron gates of Blackthorn Academy loomed before me like the jaws of a beast.

Four years. Four years I'd walked through these gates as prey. As nothing. As the girl who made herself small so she wouldn't be eaten alive.

Not anymore.

The morning sun caught my hair. The highlights blazed like fire. Gold. Bold. Everything I wasn't supposed to be.

I stepped through the gates.

And the whispers began.

"Is that Seraphina Blackwood?"

"What happened to her hair?"

"Look at her skirt! It barely covers anything!"

I didn't flinch. I didn't look down. I didn't shrink.

I walked.

My heels clicked against the cobblestone. Click. Click. Click. Each step a declaration. Each step a middle finger to every person who'd made me feel small.

Students parted like the Red Sea. Their eyes followed me. I felt their stares like physical touches—some curious, some cruel, some just shocked.

Vivian stood in the center of the courtyard, surrounded by her usual entourage. She was wearing white. Pristine. Untouchable. The queen of a kingdom built on cruelty.

Her eyes met mine.

For the first time in four years, I didn't look away.

I held her gaze. I walked toward her. And I smiled. A cold, sharp smile that didn't reach my eyes.

She flinched.

Actually flinched.

I almost laughed. The mighty Vivian Voss, rattled by the girl she'd spent four years destroying. What was she afraid of? That I'd fight back? That I'd expose her? That I'd become everything she wasn't?

Good. Let her be afraid.

I passed her without a word. She opened her mouth to speak—to deliver some cutting remark that would have broken me yesterday. But I was already gone. Already past her. Already beyond caring.

"Seraphina!"

Marcus's voice. I kept walking.

"Seraphina, wait!"

He grabbed my arm. His fingers dug into my skin. Familiar. Possessive. The same hands that had touched Vivian.

I stopped.

"Get your hand off me."

My voice was calm. Cold. Deadly.

He let go like I'd burned him. "I just want to talk. You blocked my number. You've been ignoring me. You can't just—"

"Can't just what?" I turned to face him. "Can't just walk away? Can't just decide I'm done being your backup plan? Can't just stop caring about a boy who promised me forever and gave it to someone else?"

His face went pale. Good.

"I didn't mean—"

"You didn't mean for me to find out," I finished. "I know. You told me. You were too busy with Vivian to consider how I might feel. But I'm done feeling. I'm done caring. And I'm definitely done with you."

A crowd was gathering. Whispers rippled through the courtyard. Everyone was watching. Everyone was waiting to see what I'd do.

I walked away. Marcus called after me. Vivian's voice joined his, sharp and mocking.

But I didn't care.

I walked toward the center of the courtyard. Toward the statue of the school's icons. The stone figures loomed above me, frozen in eternal judgment.

His surname was carved into the base.

Blackthorn.

I looked up at the statue. Stone eyes stared down at me. Cold. Uncaring.

Just like the boy who shared that name.

Damian Blackthorn. The heir of Family No. 1. The boy everyone feared. The boy who'd never looked at me twice.

I hated him.

No. That wasn't true. I didn't hate him. I resented him. I resented that he existed in a world so far above mine that he didn't even know I was there.

He probably didn't even know my name.

And yet, somehow, that was better. Better than Marcus, who pretended to care. Better than Vivian, who delighted in my pain. Better than the whispers that followed me everywhere.

Damian Blackthorn didn't see me. He didn't mock me. He didn't pretend to love me and then tear me apart.

He just... didn't exist in my world.

And I didn't exist in his.

I climbed the statue. My hands gripped the cold stone. My heels scraped against the marble. I didn't know what I was doing. I didn't have a plan. I just knew I couldn't go back.

I couldn't be the girl who shrank from shadows anymore.

I stood at the base of the statue, exposed to everyone. The short skirt barely covered anything. The pantyhose shimmered in the morning light. My highlights blazed like a battle cry.

And the whispers became screams.

"Get down from there!"

"Someone call a teacher!"

"She's lost her mind!"

I laughed. A wild, unhinged sound that tore from my throat. Lost my mind? No. I'd found it. For the first time in four years, I'd found it.

I looked down at the crowd. Marcus. Vivian. All their friends. Teachers running toward me.

And in a dark corner, hidden in the shadows, I saw him.

Damian Blackthorn.

He was watching me.

His ice blue eyes were fixed on my face. There was something in his expression—something I couldn't read. Something that made my stomach flip.

He was here. He was watching.

And for the first time, I didn't want to disappear.

  • The Don’s Ruin   The Come

--- POV: Seraphina --- The doors of Blackthorn Academy swung shut behind me. I didn't look back. I couldn't. If I looked back, I'd see the stone walls that had held me captive for years. I'd see the courtyard where they'd laughed at me. Drenched me in fake blood. Ripped my clothes. I'd see the statue where I'd stripped myself bare. The statue where I buried my shame. And I'd see the hallway. The abandoned hallway where I'd given myself to a boy I'd never spoken to. A boy who'd watched me secretly for years. Who had masturbated to my face, probably a lot. A boy who'd taken my virginity like he was claiming something that had always been his. Something, like every other thing he owned. Aggressively like he was used to. His birthright. My body. I kept walking. The sun was warm on my skin. The air smelled like spring. I was experiencing warm feelings like never before. The world was still spinning, still alive, still moving forward. And so was I. I walked through the cou

  • The Don’s Ruin   The Observer

--- POV: Damian --- I watched her walk away. One step, then another. Every step a knife in my chest. The sway of her perfectly set hips, one she had carefully covered all these years. The set of her shoulders. The way she held her head high, like she hadn't just given me everything and then torn it all away. Violently. I should have stopped her. Should have grabbed her, pinned her against the wall, made her understand. But I didn't. Because I knew that if I pushed her now, she'd shatter. For now, I was just part of her humiliation trial, And I'd already broken enough things in my life. I leaned against the cold stone wall, my hands shaking. The blood on my skin was drying, flaking, turning brown. Her blood. I'd taken her virginity like an animal. Rough. Brutal. Desperate. Unforgiving. And she'd asked for it. "You think I wanted gentle?" Her words echoed in my head. The broken laugh. The tears streaming down her cheeks. The way she'd looked at me like I was the

  • The Don’s Ruin   The Locker

---POV: Seraphina---I broke the moment. I couldn't let him see too much. Couldn't let him get too close.I reached down, grabbed my ruined skirt, and started walking toward my locker. My legs were shaking. My thighs were slick with his cum and my own blood. Every step sent a fresh wave of pain and pleasure through my body. But I didn't stop."Seraphina."His voice was rough. Confused. He didn't understand why I was walking away.I didn't care.I reached my locker. The metal was cold against my palm. The combination lock spun under my fingers—years of muscle memory guiding me through the numbers. 14-27-09. The day I'd first been bullied. The day I'd learned to disappear.I pulled it open. The locker was small. Cramped. But it held everything I needed. Fresh clothes. A clean pair of panties. A spare bra. A change of shoes. Years of being humiliated had taught me to be prepared.I could hear him behind me. Trying to stand. Trying to come after me."Seraphina, wait—"I didn't wait.I p

  • The Don’s Ruin   The Kneel

~~Seraphina's POV~~His lips lingered on my forehead like a brand. Soft. Almost tender."This isn't over," he said. "We're just getting started."The words slithered through my brain like smoke, curling around my thoughts, choking out reason. My body was still humming from the orgasm he'd ripped from me—the first real one I'd ever had. My thighs were slick with my own wetness, cooling against my skin. My pantyhose were ruined, torn open at the crotch where his fingers had been.I should leave.I should run.But my feet were rooted to the floor. My cunt was still throbbing, still aching, still desperate for more. I'd never felt anything like this before. Never knew my body could want like this.Damian's chest was still heaving. His cock was still hard—I could see it straining, thick and demanding. He'd just come. Just spilled his seed all over my thighs. And he was still hard.Fuck.He reached for me again, his hand cupping my jaw, tilting my face up to meet his gaze. Those ice blue

  • The Don’s Ruin   The Sound

I couldn't look away. I couldn't breathe. I couldn't think. It was thick. Thicker than I'd imagined a man could be-or maybe it was just him. The head was flushed, almost angry looking, and there was something wet glistening at the tip. His hand moved in a rhythm that made my thighs clench instinctively. He was stroking himself with a desperation that made me feel like a voyeur, like I was seeing something I shouldn't see, something private and sacred and— And he was looking at a picture. His phone was propped against a stack of books. The screen glowed in the dim light. I squinted, trying to make out the image— It was me. It was a photo from the statue scene. The moment I'd exposed myself. My breasts bare. My face triumphant. The image was grainy, clearly taken from far away, but it was undeniably me. He was masturbating to my picture. My face flushed hot. My stomach flipped. And between my legs, something deep and shameful throbbed with an intensity that made me gasp. I presse

  • The Don’s Ruin   The Extinguisher

--- POV: Seraphina --- I dropped the extinguisher. It clattered on the floor, rolling to a stop at Vivian's feet. Her designer dress was ruined. Her perfect blonde hair was caked in white foam. Tears cut tracks through the mess on her face. "I hate you," she sobbed. "I HATE YOU." I looked at her. The girl who'd made my life a living hell. The girl who'd taken everything from me. "Good," I said. And then I ran. I ran down the hallway. Past the classrooms. Past the lockers. Past the whispers that would follow me forever. I ran until my lungs burned and my eyes stung. I didn't know where I was going. I didn't have a plan. I just knew I had to get away. I turned a corner. The hallway was empty. Dusty. Forgotten. The abandoned part of the school. I'd moved my locker here years ago. After they'd poured milk on my books. After they'd written "NERD" in permanent marker on my locker door. After they'd made it clear that I wasn't welcome in their world. I stopped in front of my loc
