Tomasso's situation was proving to be layered with each day that passes by. What were the old that Tomssso may have been friends or cordial with Rosa. That was another puzzle I had to fix if I really wanted to know what was going on.

Just after a few minutes later, I headed to his room and knocked at his dooor. I held my heart into my mouth as I knocked at his door, hoping for a response.

If there was one thing this new Tomasso was good at was ignoring someone.

“Who's there?” He groaned, as though he was feeling disturbed.

“It's me.” I stuttered.

“Okay?” He asked.

I scrunched my face. Isn't he supposed to say come in or something?

“Come in.” He said as though it was am afterthought.

The moment I stepped inside the room, I stood beside the bed, staring at him.

He crossed his legs by the ankle as he held the remote control in front of the television.

“Wanted to ask if you knew Rosa.”

He regarded me briefly. “I'm yet to remember every part of it but I know she was nice to me at some poi

Today, at the hostel we all busied ourselves during different things. No one talked about what the night held. We were now used to activities like that, all we wanted to do was to enjoy the moment without thinking about anything about what the night held. As Lisa offered pedicure services for me, Cassandra skipped to where we were sitting and sat on the bed.“Hey.” She smiled.“Hi.” I replied with a dry smile. I was not sure on how to act seeing that Lisa didn't really like Cassandra and she wanted to be friends with Lisa.“Hey Lisa.” Cassandra greeted.Lisa barely responded with a glance. Cassandra's face fell, I could tell that she was expecting more than a glance. In two minutes, Lisa stood up. “I hope you like your nails.”I glanced at them and the colour combination was the most prettiest I had seen in a while. Ofcourse I wasn't able to see more because I hadn't stepped out to the outside word in a while since I had been confined to this place.“It's beautiful.” I gushed and she

StefanoIt's been months and we still haven't gotten any information about my wife and news have been spreading about the death of Robin. But I knew that was a lie, he wasn't dead but alive. I guess he didn't want too much attention on him for the main time but that didn't make him less of the wicked person that he was.Today, I would be attending a conference where I would be talking about my wife's disappearance and the sum of money that would be given to anyone. While I prepared, I thought the entire time was futile but Matteo managed to convince me to give it a try. The moment I finished dressing up, Tomasso walked near me. He insisted on wanting to come along with me. Although he didn't fully remember Bella like he said to me but he knew that she has always been kind to him. When I was done getting prepared, Marco drove me to the place as usual. Getting there, the press conference started and Matteo read the agenda for the day and after a while, the questions started rolling in.

Before I knew it, she broke into sob.I looked around just to check if anyone was watching us. I didn't want her to drag attention to our direction. I didn't have the strength to start explaining on why I was asking about Annabel. It was questionable because I didn't meet her here so anybody would want to know why I was curious about her and who had told me about her enough me to be curious.I shifted next to her and patted her back. “You see that's why we need to find out what exactly happened to her.”Suddenly Cassandra rose to her feet. “I can't handle it anymore, I missed my friends so bad.” Her voice was loud enough for everyone to hear and she got their attention. Everyone paused what they were doing and they glared towards our direction with confused expressions.“What's happening here?” Amelia's friend asked as she popped her chewing gun.“I don't know.” Amelia regarded Casandra with a look that seemed like she thought Cassandra was mad. “Why you suddenly talking about Annabel

The usual was yet to happen. We were all dressed waiting for madam livia to come inside and then do her usual picking but she was no where to be found. I waited anxiously, tapping my heels against the tiles. Soon, I glanced at the wallclock next to me. It was 9:30pm, she usually showed up by 9:00 on the dot so this was new for me.Cassandra walked closer to me and sat on bed. “Hey,” she greeted.I shifted on the bed, giving her more space to sit on.“Seems like you're avoiding me.” She said, her tiny voice touching my ears.“Am I?” I asked my eyes widened. She nodded, her face morphing into a sad expression.“I'm sorry you feel that way.” I apologized and the across the room, I caught Lisa's stern eyes watching me.I made a gesture of zipping my mouth with my hands before Casandra could notice what I was doing. Lisa nodded and walked away.“It's alright,” she nooded with a tight lipped smile. “So how are you prepared for tonight's activities.”“I am not doing anything much to prepare.

“We really don't have any choice.” I repeated and she frowned.“You're right but what is bad about a little girl that wants to hope?” She asked and shrugged.“Nothing.” I simply replied and she laughed. She was right. We had to keep our hopes alive, if we had no hope then we were as good as dead so therefore we must keep hopes alive so we may find a reason to keep going in this shitty place. We stayed together in silence for a little while and I decided to ask the question that has been on my lips for the longest while.“So how did you get here?” She looked at me and pressed her lips into a thin line. Then she stared straight ahead. Her silence unnerved me and I began to hope that I hadn't asked her anything in the first place.I cleared my throat. “Please pretend I never said anything. I'm sorry.” I apologized. I didn't want to ruin my friendship with her because I was being too nosy. She chuckled and waved a dismissive flick of her wrist. “I'll tell you.” She whispered while we sti

The next morning when I woke up, I acted like nothing had happened. And like I hadn't already looked for a way to escape this hell hole of a place. I did my normal activities as usual and rested on my bed while I was done. Since I didn't have a phone here, I just looked up at the wooden bunk as I tried to observe all its intricate carvings. It was fascinating and most importantly, well done. It occurred to me that I missed my phone. I had been talking about how much I had missed my family but now I missed my phone. I thought about Tomasso and how he was doing. I wondered if he had finally regain his memory. Maybe my absence would make him remember my presence in his life.“...you.” Lisa drew my attention from my thoughts as she laid on my bed.“How are you doing?” I asked, straightening my posture and laying my back on the phone.“Well what can I say?” She asked a rhetorical question. “Must be really tough huh?” I chuckled. “Being the only that takes orders from madam livia everytime
