36-The Seven

Nicolae’s POV:

Layla stumbles but quickly puts her shield back up before looking in my direction.

‘What are you doing!’ She shouts at me through our link.

‘I won't let you fight him alone!’ I replied.

‘Get out of here it's not safe!’ She shouts again as an attack suddenly heads in my direction.

The darkness that surrounds Samuel strikes me and sends me hurdling back and before I can blink Samuel is before me while still making assaults on Layla’s shield.

“You think you can save her! You failed the first time, what makes you think you will succeed this time! You're pathetic and now you have no one to make a deal with to save your precious wife and child!” Samuel hisses and readies himself for another attack.
