Chapter 49
I really wanted to try that force thing. As we walked, I kept thinking about doing it on command. When it happened before, I was angry and didn’t realize what I was doing. I remember I just needed space or wanted Wyatt to get away from me. Visualizing a force being pushed forward did not work. I tried pushing my hands forward which only resulted in the electricity to blast a tree and splinters went flying! After that, every one was very aware of me and kept giving me glances in humorous fear.
I was getting frustrated now. Nothing was working. I gave up trying for the moment. Trevor put his hand up and signaled for us to be quiet. I wonder if we are getting to the place to meet Justin. I am getting hungry and my stomach was starting to growl. I haven’t really eaten anything and the thought of eating a rabbit or squirrel was mouthwatering. Hearing some one approach had us all on the balls of our feet.

I was only able to eat about half of the burger. My stomach was used to eating mush and a greasy burger was not ideal but it was food. I did feel better and the water helped rehydrate me. I peeked out from behind the trees. There was no less than ten armored black SUV looking vehicles. The windows were so tinted, you couldn’t even see into them, not even a shadow. Justin walked up to a window and started talking to the guy. “Justin?” the guy in the window asked “Yes, and you are?” “Kevin. I am the lead of this rescue mission. I was so focused on my mission I didn’t even pay attention to where we were going. I had the images of a hot shower. The water running down my body, the smell of shampoo and conditioner. I will have food brought to you and it will be on your bed when you are done showering. The closet is stalked and should be around the right size for you. Chose whatever you want to wear, they are for guest to use and take as needed. I have also had a female lay out all the items you may need. Again, use whatever you want. There is a phone by the bed. Slowly, the blackness is fading and I can hear some whispering. I am hit full force with a very concerned and annoyed emotions. It is way too early for this! I just want to go back to sleep but the whispering is pretty loud now. Peaking my eye open, I see Wyatt is standing at the door in only sweat pants. Walking out of the bedroom, I was met with a warm, homey feeling hallway. Kelly lead the way down a hallway and to the stairs. The carpet was a cream fluffy kind that your toes sunk into and made you want to squish down it in like mud. The walls were a darker tan with pictures of who I assume are pack members and family. Different events and parties also found their way on the walls. The stairway was grand but still had a homey feel to it. The kind of feeling that you get when you go into your grandma’s house and you didn’t have to worry about what you touched or if you accidently broke something. We all sat in silence for what seemed forever, in reality it was more like ten minutes. Just soaking in all this information. I have an uncle. Supposably, he is on my side and wants to help me. Sighing, I moved to the couch and sat down. I can do this. I was born for this. I spent my life training and preparing for this moment, evening if I was unaware of it. My dad must have known this was going to happen soon or later. All those hours of him grilling and pushing me to my limit has lead me to this moment. ‘One day, Nina, you will see how all this is worth it. I was about 7 or 8 years old and dad was teaching me to stand tall but belittling me outfit. I couldn’t take what he said about my pretty shirt so I ran to him and he pushed me down.
