Abraham gazed at her face that shone under moonlight, her eyes were smiling, lips spread with happiness and he felt a pang in his chest.

His brain screamed at him and he obliged.
He took a step back, Minahil's eyes squinted out of confusion. Her smile faltered.
"What's wrong?" She inquired, bringing her hand back to her side.

WaniyaSadness does not seem a burden, when you never had the pleasure of being happy. I have always been in a fight and flight mode, struggling to prove that I am worth something, even though nobody cared. The darkness inside my body has deepened itself to the point that I can't breathe without hindrance. If I could show you a visual graphic of how this darkness feels, you will see black thick branches wounded around my heart and lungs like that of an ancient oak tree. Driven by the yearning of avenging herself, she lost her sense of conscience or perhaps she never bothered with it. The sky was dark and darkness was suffocating, cutting off my breathing, there was an unbearable pressure on my ribs, lifelesss legs dangled me to who knows where. The mind ran in circles only, not processing anything. Nowhere seemed like home anymore.
