Chapter 19: Preparation for the take down

Five days later, in the midst of the dark night, using the camouflage of darkness, Alex sneaked past several guards that were protecting the heavily guarded central area of the mine, and infiltrated into Lord Rena's resting tent with his newly attained Shadow Ninja skill. 

Once inside the tent, Alex canceled his skill and the black shadow that was enveloping his figure dissipated and retreated to his shadow that was reflecting on the ground. Pausing for a moment to survey the tent, he went into hiding at a corner of the tent behind a wooden translucent screen.
