Mariana Rose

“Glenda! Come on!” Justin’s voice reached me but I’m torn at responding with appropriate action.

Victor is making sense. This could be the best time to get married without Rozen’s presence to prevent any untoward intervention from him.

But at the same time, it feels so wrong to pursue the wedding during this point.

“Hurry, Glenda!” Drake called for my name impatiently but Victor’s strong grip on my hand remained warm.

“Glenda, stay,” he continued persuading me. “We may never have another opportunity without drawing bloodshed. I know Rozen. He will never marry you off to me. He hates me because I was the one who introduced Iris to Evan. He lost his mate because of me.”

I bit my lips and closed my eyes hoping that I could quickly arrive at the decision.

“Glenda!” Drake shouted for my name over and over again. “Alpha Rozen is in grave danger! Come on now!”

I snapped back into the present and pulled my hand from him, clear disappointment all over his clenched face.

Mariana Rose“I will marry you,” I assured him, “when I make sure that my brother is safe. While on the way, I kept on biting the inside of my tongue ruminating what transpired at the police. Evan is really one scheming evil persona. He knows that Rozen is sick and Glenda is a wealthy werewolf with an identity to be protected that’s why he targeted her.The same thing happened to me before. He knows I’m foolish and naïve, that's why he approached me.“You know I care for you, right?” Victor reached for my hand when we were outside the Ricks’ mansion.I smiled at him tactically hiding the darkness of my stare. “I know, thank you.”I got out of the car determined to wake Rozen up when my phone rang.“Hello.”“It seems like you are enjoying living the life of Glenda that you forget what you came there for,” said a cold feminine voice.“Empress…” I uttered and closed my eyes.I almost forgot about my promise! I told her I would work on finding the whereabouts of Rozen’s father but I was t

  • The Ex-Convict Luna is Back   Framed but not Fallen

Mariana RoseThe police escorted me into their mobile car while the pack’s guards looked on towards me wanting to help seeing that their alpha’s sister had been taken away but Melissa’s order was to let the officers do their job.No one should interfere, she said, because if they find out that I really burned Evan Hugh’s house, then I will be a liability to the Silverthorne pack. With no one to save me this time, I sat calmly in the interrogating room waiting for the questions to be asked. My hands are still shaking from the memories of being in this similar room while they make me admit that I killed Margot Hill.“You burned Evan Hugh’s mansion on the night of his birthday.” The investigator slammed his hands on the metal table and inspected my face. “Why did you do that?”I gasped seeing that he is the same office who questioned me back then.“I did not burn his house,” I answered in a composed manner even though my chest is tightening and my vision is getting blurry.“A servant saw

  • The Ex-Convict Luna is Back   Interrupted Desire

Mariana RoseWith Alpha Rozen still unconscious, Justin became the default alpha-in-command.With that declaration, Melissa came back into the mansion acting like she has the power over everything.Jezebel, used to being the only one most powerful woman in the mansion is pissed to the highest core because her daughter-in-law now runs the whole house together with Justin.“How dare she do this to me!” Jezebel is fuming mad while pacing around my room in the late morning. She just barged inside without even knocking.Standing up from my vanity mirror, I approached her and massaged her shoulders. “Mom, what happened? Why are you so upset?”She glowered at me and pushed me away as she continued walking back and forth. “You!” She pointed at me. “If not for you, then that woman will never dare to defy me! This is all your fault! If only you only listened to me and married Victor right away, then Rozen would still be the alpha and not that Beta Justin.”I pouted and continued massaging her b

  • The Ex-Convict Luna is Back   Death in Flame and Fang

Mariana RoseI just stared at the wild empty eyes of the rogue wolf with my feet frozen on the ground.“Move!” my mind screamed but I could not. It’s too late. It’s literally just a centimeter away from biting me.Paralyzed with fear, I could only close my eyes and wait for the pain to hit me.But it didn’t. Instead, I heard a grunt and a sound of bones breaking and a foul smell of rotting flesh in the air.Gasping, I opened my eyes and saw the decapitated head of the rogue on my feet and Rozen’s bloody hands checking up on me.“Are you okay?” he asked and examined my body thoroughly. “Scratches? Open bites? Injuries?”“N-No, I… I’m fine,” I answered while my eyes were fixed on his arm where a nasty bite wound took up almost a meter of his skin. With my hands shaking, I reached for his hands and was dumbfounded when his temperature was too below the normal range for our kind. “Alpha Rozen, your hands are so cold.”He sighed in relief as if he did not hear me and wiped the blood on his

  • The Ex-Convict Luna is Back   Proposal, Decision, and Rogue Wolf

Mariana RoseAfter my outburst, he did not ask me any questions and just let me sulk while sitting on the grass looking out into the stars above us.“I can feel for you. I can see the same ache in your eyes when I lost Margot. My world stopped and all I can do is think of revenge,” he said and let out a sigh.I looked down and stopped myself from laughing bitterly. “And you did not get it. You can’t get it because she’s dead.”He shook his head with all the regrets in him. “Yes, and I will forever carry that burden in me. I failed to protect her. I failed to give her the justice she deserves.”The hard clasps of his hands together on his lap and the tight jaws on his face is enough for me to suffice that just like me, he is also trapped in the past. But at my own pace, I would unfold the past for him.Oh, I would give everything to see Evan’s reaction once I spill out the truth about what really happened.I should not be shocked that he betrayed me because he even killed Margot, his b
