CHAPTER 39: Passed Out

Gavin and I went to the supermarket because I decided to buy some mangoes and tomatoes. I also bought other ingredients I would need for the food that I wanted to eat. I think it wouldn't be complete without a sauce, so I purchased anchovies.

"Are you planning to cook? You're just wasting time for this," Gavin said as he pushed the cart while I put the ingredients inside it. I was taken aback by what he said, so I looked at him.

"Who said I would be the one who's going to cook? For your information, you'll be the one who's cooking." I corrected what he said. His forehead furrowed because of that.

"As far as I can remember, you never said anything like that," Gavin answered while his eyebrows almost met. I think he was annoyed because his expression and the tone of his voice were about to rise.

I was upset about what he said, so I pretended I didn't hear him. I just continued putting the ingredients in the cart while he was still pushing it.
