After making sure everything was done, we locked up the studio and took the elevator to our floor. I stepped off the elevator and walked straight to the kitchen. I raised my eyebrows at Hailey’s parting comment and quietly laughed as I shook my head. I put the finishing touches on my drawing and then told Ashley I would be in the back. When I got to my work area, I took the watchband and bracelet out of the molds. I pinned the clasp onto the band, then added the pins for the watch itself.I went to my laptop and pulled up the engraving pattern. While the pattern was uploaded to the engraver, I placed the two halves of the bracelet in the machine and pressed the start button. I picked up the watchband and put it in my small, padded, vice. I started my engraving and, before I knew it, I had it done.I took the bracelet out of the engraver then installed a hinge to one end of each piece, then a magnet clasp to the opposite ends of each half. Chapter 140The next morning, I woke up to an empty bed and assumed Daniel had already left for work. I looked at the clock and gasped as I noticed the shop should’ve opened five minutes ago.
