After everyone went home, Daniel and I settled on the couch while Annie and Amy cleaned the kitchen. I asked, “Are you upset with me for doing this?” Daniel shook his head, “Not in the least. I know you want your freedom from him and my stepmother. Hell, I want your freedom from them. I want you as mine for the rest of my life. I can’t wait for the divorce to be final.”

I smiled as I snuggled into his arms, “You are my dream man. I would be crazy to give you up.” He asked, “What is the first thing you want to do after the divorce is final?” I shrugged, “I have no clue. I think I want to just relax for a day or two. What do you think?” He asked, “Would you like to help me find a building for my headquarters?”

I smiled, “I would love to help you as much as possible. Don’t forget my degree is in design. Not just fashion: it also includes interior design. Angela would be a really big help in finding the building. She gets quite a few exclusive listings that no one else knows about.” He nod
