Harley POV

When we made it back to my building, the first thing I noticed was all of my machines were all set up in the exact spots I wanted them. I was so happy to be able to get started. However, I have more than one thing that I need to get done first. I’m just happy that I have them set up. That is one less stressor for me.

When we got upstairs to the penthouse, Annie greeted us at the elevator, “Harley! I’m so happy you’re back. Amy and I were starting to get bored.” I laughed, “What would you do if Daniel and I went away for two weeks?” Amy laughed, “You would need to put in a massive library and hope I’m not a book character by the time you come back.”

I agreed, “I really should put a mini library in here. Maybe put three bookshelves each on the two sides of the sitting room. When I get uncomfortably big and right after the baby is born, I’m going to want to do nothing but design and read.” Daniel smiled, “Your wish is my command, love. I have a buddy who is a woodworker. I’ll h

After taking only a few minutes to change into something more presentable, Daniel and I went to Scott’s house. When we got there, Scott greeted us and I smiled, “Hey Scott. How are you feeling?” He answered, “I’m better. It’s irritating that I have to keep this arm immobile, but I survived and you are safe. That’s the best alternate outcome I can think of.”I smiled, “I feel horrible that you got shot. I never wanted anyone to get hurt because of me.” Scott smiled, “Ms. Harley, none of this was because of you. It was because your mother is a psycho bitch and she wants you dead.” I nodded, “I guess you’re right, but I come bearing a gift for you to show how much I appreciate what you did.”Daniel started recording and I handed the gift box to him. I smiled, “Open it. I made it for you myself.” He smiled, “Okay.” He lifted the lid and gasped as he held the watch. He found the engraving and read it out loud with tears in his eyes. I added, “The band is St. George’s cross. He is the patro

Ray took out a case and asked, “Now, let’s see if there is anything you can do with these.” The first one had a phoenix rising on the face. I took out the watchbands that I had already made with various materials and found the perfect match. It was a brushed leather band with a Native American phoenix symbol on either side of the face. I put the band on the watch and Ray smiled, “I knew you would have a match for this one.”The next watch had a Celtic knot on the face. I smiled, “I have the perfect match for this one.” I went to the vault and pulled out the tray of watch bands that I already had done. When I found the one I was looking for, I grinned as I picked it up. I then showed him a band of connected Celtic crosses made in silver.I attached it to the watch and I smiled, “The Celtic symbol for love and the Celtic symbol for strength.” Ray smiled, “I love that one. It’s perfect.” You really do have a real talent for this. All of these watch bands are cool.”I noticed one watch, f

The next morning, I woke up much later than usual and Daniel had already left for work. I picked up my phone and found a text from Daniel, “Good morning, love. Sorry I had to leave early today. I wish I could be there with you today. I hope you will take it easy today. Dad is coming over this morning to keep you company. I love you. Have a good day. D” I chuckled knowing Theodore will be here to babysit me… not keep me company.I ran my hand over my belly and noticed it felt bigger. I went to the bathroom and started the shower. When I got undressed, I looked at my reflection in the mirror. My belly was noticeably bigger, but not so big that my dress wouldn’t fit. I smiled as I spoke to my babies, “You two are growing so much now. I’m so proud of both of you.”I took my shower, brushed my teeth, and brushed out my wet hair. Deciding to let my hair dry naturally that day, I walked to my closet and decided to wear a pair of leggings and a loose T-shirt. I decided that I would be making

When we landed at home, we immediately went to Angela’s office and completed the paperwork. On video call with the other real estate agent and the previous owners, we were talking about the property and we were told of about a hidden room off of the master bedroom in case of a break-in. I looked at Daniel and smiled, “I love these people.”When the papers were signed by us all and the transfer of ownership was done, Daniel did an electronic transfer for seven hundred, fifty thousand dollars. I asked, “Angela, with all the excitement of finding the perfect house, I forgot to ask how many acres of land there is.” Angela smirked, “You now own eight hundred acres of land. Your nearest neighbor is ten miles away.”I smiled, “That is so awesome. I think we need to build a couple more guest houses for security personnel.” Angela laughed, “Hon, you have a total of four of those houses plus a gate house at the gate at the end of your driveway. That’s what happens when you make your decision ha

When we landed at the second helipad we were greeted with a gravel walking trail. When we reached the first building, Angela smiled, “This is a barn for horses. The owners have already moved out so, if you choose this one, you will be able to move in immediately.” Daniel smiled, “We’ll keep that in mind.”As we walked into the barn, I smiled, “I love this. It’s perfect for horses.” I saw a door next to the barn stalls and found it led to the tack room. There were hooks for harnesses, reins, and lead ropes and there were three sawhorses for saddles. I added, “It looks like they knew what they were doing. There is even a mini fridge for medicines.”I walked out the other end of the barn and it led to a large corral. I smiled, “This really is a perfect set up for horses.” Daniel asked, “Do you want horses?” I nodded, “I want a ranch. I want horses, miniature horses, cattle, chickens and turkeys.” He laughed, “You don’t want sheep?”I smiled, “I would love to have sheep if I could learn h

I woke up the next morning to feather light kisses on my shoulder and a strong arm around my waist. I sighed, “Good morning, my love.” He chuckled, “I think I might be able to make it a better morning.” I laughed, “I love it when you wake me up like this. It’s the best. You know I will never refuse you.” Daniel lifted my leg and immediately slid inside me. He groaned, “I’m so glad you won’t refuse me.”An hour later, we were sitting at the table, waiting for our breakfast. I had my sketch pad, designing the watch band for Scott while Daniel was reading the financial news on his tablet. I looked around the room and laughed to myself, “After getting hot in bed and then a steamier shower, this is a total contrast.”Daniel leveled his gaze at me and smirked, “What are you thinking?” I chuckled, “I was just thinking how mind boggling the speed at which the atmosphere between us can change. An hour ago. I went from calm, to hot and wild, to steamy in the shower and now we are both so calm l
