“Come, come, this will be fairly quick.” The Fae Kingdom’s head witch, Davina, was guiding us through the forest with an entire entourage in toe. King Orion stood in front while Willa gripped my hand tightly, keeping me from falling. I couldn’t believe that I had black magic on me, but then again, this was Adam. He had lied to me for so many years and who knows how long this had been going on. What was the black magic doing to me?

My feet stumbled. Nicholas, not far behind, grabbed me by the shoulders, only nodding, keeping me steady. He had been quiet the entire afternoon and the walk leading up to the magic to be cast out.
