The service started around 11am, but they arrived at the hall by 9am, greeting the few guests that showed up early, Carter's relatives as well.

Astrid had two older brothers, and Andrew's family was quite large. Three sisters; one older than Andrew and two younger brothers. They arrived with their families, exchanging words of sympathy and catching up with Carter; the rumored prodigal son.

The priest stood beside a large framed photo of Carter's father, and it was the first time Paisley got the chance to see what he looked like.
