"You know you hurt mom last night, right?" Daryl informed as he took out a bottled water from the fridge. He leaned against the fridge and stared straight at Carter who sat on the sofa across from him.
Carter remained all but quiet, taking care of the little work left on his laptop and hoping Daryl wouldn't press further on the topic.
Paisley had talked to him the previous night, and like he promised her, he planned on spending the entire day with nothing but that on his mind. However, Daryl prying in on the situation was liable to make him snap.
"You shouldn't have said that"
