Carter spent another day recovering with the help of his trusted son and Nanny. Eli called to inform him that they had started the hiring process for an assistant who'd take half his workload, although, not without his permission.Feeling a little sore and in desperate need of fresh air, Carter suggested that all three of them head to the park for a quiet and nice picnic, to which Karter bounced up and down on his chair excitedly.The next morning, Paisley woke up really early to prepare the lunchbox for the picnic and was greeted with Carter who exited his room quietly."Good morning", she greeted with a smile and he smiled back. Chapter 9 Carter arrived at the hospital to meet Paisley seated besides a doctor, and a small bed with his son warmly tucked in it.    Karter was still deep in sleep and didn't feel the needle go through his tiny hand. The doctor hung the bag of fluids over the tall iron rack and just then, turned to see Carter.    "Mr. Reid" he greeted with a warm, but small smile. "I don't know if the phrase 'it's nice to see you again' will suffice"    Carter gave a low chuckle at his statement and shook his head. "How is he?""He's running a fever. A bad one. We've wrapped him up in warm clothes and given him an IV. He'll be all better tomorrow morning"    "Thank you" Carter greeted with a smile of relief plastered on his face.   He
