The night air was cool against my skin as I made my way through the dense forest, my steps guided through the trees. Patricia walked beside me, her expression unreadable in the darkness. I could sense an air of unease hanging between us, as if a storm was brewing in the silence.

As we ventured deeper into the woods, Trish finally broke the silence that had enveloped us since we left the grand hall. Her voice was barely a whisper, laden with a mixture of guilt and apprehension. "Alondra," she began, her words faltering for a moment before she found her voice.
